▫ Mativeirs ▫

With no words, she stared up at the sky above her. There she saw a huge, feathered, and quick presence of a 'Ghostly Avifauna'—an ancient breed found in the paste, crystal-like waters of Arkedss planet. 'They are supposed to be destroyed.'

On the other hand, a WhiBla that holds a chained weapon choked her up and about. She coughed. Damned the part that she got distracted by the creature. The chain that got her neck surrounded pulled her backward. She slowly put control on the chains. It was bearable for her since she could hold her breath, but the pain increases when she interchanges and counterattack it. She used her whip on the chained weapon, making it a duplicated sight. To the WhiBla who caught her neck, its eyes widened but then again, not in surprise but terror.

Sentries may turn against their emotions, but the eyes will always tell the accuracy.

The ground began to rise as she focused on letting her bottom stay at one point. Her whip did the same thing to the WhiBla. It reacted to her whip though it did not cough the way she did; it only froze then wept out in agony. Then, providing the WhiBla with intense pain, it knelt.

"We will see each other soon." She told the WhiBla in front of her. She half bent down her left leg beforehand to jump up the ground as she concentrated on rising it up. Higher and Higher. Like an oceanic upsurge, the ground tossed her on the edge as she reached the peak. She did a triple roll in mid-air.

Not far away, she can also hear the in-depth automobiles. The noise can be described as a submarine from earth but inland, and when the speed rises, it sounds like a submarine engine. The kind of tone pleases the Arkedss beings' ears. Because their ears are born like an underwater species, a high pitch would not hurt. It neutralizes the noise.

"Great, they are here." After she uttered the words, the ground behind her progressively goes down, back to its shape. Her immobile silver-white hair earlier became a view to remember as it spreads throughout her back widely with a slight wave from the air, causing a rippled touch that made the circle shape jelly glow red with a size of half-inch on the roots, center, and ends of her hair components. A fading fire falling with a reflection of a sunrise pastel cloud picture was the solitary description that Ciana could give to what the other beings saw.

Time for the viewers felt like it had stopped. Ciana was on a different level even without trying hard. Gladly, her left eye was not showing any change. It did not spark. She was clueless about it even now. Yet, something was wrong with her new capabilities. Whether it was good or bad, for her…it should be observed by her alone. No one else should know. Not fair yet.

"Here, catch!" Without looking to the being who was calling for her attention, she held out a hand to catch the thin hoodie that a member threw mid-air towards her, and she directly wore it. It was not dangerous since she landed her foot gracefully on the dual saddle of Mativeir—A air vehicle made from earth's sea resources that only exist in Arkedss as the basic transportation.

"She is getting away!" The Blues and WhiBlas yelled. Of course, they will have the penalty of failing to get the item, including her.

She breathed in and out, in and out. Could she be overawed of the choice that she just practiced?

"Let's get away from here," Ciana heard but did not look, but even so, she knows that all eyes are on her. And so, she nodded in agreement. While the Mativeir keeps going further, further away from the Eakra's clan territory, she waves out a hand. 'I really hope that I will not play with those sentries anymore. I hope for a safe and better battle next time. Well, there is no next time...yeah?' The whole crew cheered and laughed… gaudier. It was because they got her back, or maybe there must be a different reason? A sudden faint arc in the corner of her lips brings out the vicious side of her, and it was one of her signatures that no one will forget if it has been seen.

"Are you alright? We cheered for you. Since we are all safe now."

She did not respond to whoever asked the question, but half of the sentence was somewhat uncommon to say. Her faint arc flees away in place of continuing to breathe in and out again. It was her third time doing it. It may be annoying, but for her, it was the only way to fine-tune the new air she would puff. She was standing on the saddle.

"Just drive," She closed her eyes as she heard another voice. 'This crew, I do not know if I can even trust the beings that are with me now.' Darkness enveloped her; she could hear a whisper. Nonetheless, the words were clear to her.

'A thousand years before, planets are at peace. Until the sun exploded, making a new type of living beings with powers, which later on give birth to a new Cycle.' Then a hazy band of lights showed up in the darkness. It became separated into two.

'A thousand years after, the Sun refreshes with two powerful planets that opened up a War. Yet, only one living being holds the consequences.' The whispers on her head grow louder, louder, louder, and then sharper. Formerly, she saw a figure in the center of the lights—someone with blood-red glowing eyes looking at her.

She hurriedly opened her eyes while her ears were impaired for a few twinkles. The crew was still chatting with each other while driving their Mativeirs'. But, then, who was murmuring those words inside her head? Why did she see herself in the Darkness?

"Qan, are you alright?"

Ciana turned to face the presence in front of her. The Mativeirs user in obverse was one of the recruits that will introduce themselves later on.
