Vandezos assistant came in the action, pushing Rip back using its hands. When Ciana was slowly waking up before, Vandezo left at that point. He just gave out a instruction to his assistant when it will return and when will Vandezo comes back. He has a schedule to follow.

As for Yanie, she did not know there were a lot of living being protecting Ciana and Elder Yuan would not be please if he knows it.
