The struggle for the control of earth continues, despite the defeat of the angels. The hidden eighth continent, Panthalassa, is the ground zero of the maelstrom of darkness that is poisoning the world and its inhabitants.
Aisling thinks she will solve the crisis plaguing the earth with her foresight and a scream to shatter the darkness. 
In the hidden continent, she discovers the limitations of her power and her need for growth before the apocalypse burns it all down. 
But her focus is torn as she is drawn to Abaddon Rex, the legendary king of the demi-angels. He is like a flame, and she cannot resist his allure. 
And he is willing to fall deep into their fated love, even if it means the end of the world.

Demi-Angel Meets Banshee

Aisling had spent several months on the island. She did know the exact length of time, but she was sure that it was almost a year. She had finally managed to heal the animals from their bad mental state after a lot of effort.

The savagery of the creatures had reduced over time until she was able to use her druidic powers to summon the animals and communicate with them. It seemed that her banshee voice was not only good for attacking and controlling.

When she imbued softer mental energy, it could soothe and heal.

After the animals stopped attacking her, she started exploring the island with more ease. She mapped the entire place and catalogued all useful things, ranging from growing edible fruits to fresh spring water. She also built a simple eyrie on a tall tree for accommodation.
