Going Home

The fall from the tall skyscraper was exhilarating.

Aisling stretched her hands to the sun as she dropped downwards. She even closed her eyes and enjoyed the wind on her face.

There was nothing better than the freedom to move as she wished.

It might have been over two months in the world. But it was literal years since she fell into someone else's hands, forced to live a life where she could not choose.

Control…

It was underrated.

If it were the old Aisling, she would never have made the jump from that building. She would have been afraid of injuries and death. The new Aisling was invincible and did not fear a little gravity.

When she landed on the ground, it was lightly and on her tiptoes, like a graceful little fairy. She realised that she was barefoot and chose to hover over the hard pavement.
