In the morning, Aisling took a quick shower and dressed in one of the long robes made by Dahlia. Her hair was more tangled than ever since she had slept on the wet curls, but she could not bring herself to care. Her only immediate interest was food.
When she went downstairs, it did not take long before she found the dining room. The table was filled with a lavish meal fit for a king. Aisling giggled to herself as she realised she was in the King's castle. It was a little surreal.
She looked at the place settings and wondered where she should sit down. She recognised the head of the table based on the distinctiveness of the majestic chair and the general arrangement of the table. The setting was obviously meant for Rex.
She wondered if she should be on the other end of the table.
