Prophecies Fulfilled

When the shackles broke loose and the prison in Mariana Trench collapsed, the three angels did not hesitate to leave. None of them trusted the other, so it was each angel for themselves. None looked at their fellow prisoner as they embraced freedom.

Azazel spread his wings and used his brute power to ascend through the water column, erupting with an explosion. The sound of his ascent was loud and earth-shattering, drawing the attention of the entire continent and even beyond.

Luciel sliced his hand, and blood dripped out. He looked at Ophiel one last time before pressing his palm on the sigil on his collarbone. The mark glowed, and he disappeared from the prison like he never existed.

The last thing he saw was the mocking gaze of his brother. But he did not care about this familial relationship anymore. He wanted to be free and live like an ordinary angel instead of pursuing grandeur with his psychotic brother.
