Author's Note

Hello everyone,

In this AN I want to give you more details about the setting of this story and how the book is split.

WARNING: If you read the description of Volume 2 without having read Volume 1 beforehand, you might encounter one or two big spoilers, so read this with caution.

First of all, there will be two volumes.

Secondly, these volumes will tell the stories of different protagonists. Though, it's good to know that characters from the first volume might be found in the second one as well.

~~~
Volume 1 will tell the story of 18 year old Kim Yoon-Yi, as she travels into the past. The year she goes back to is 1452, which is a time when the country boils with trouble. The characters will be caught between political plots and a strife for power between different factions.
There, Kim Yoon-Yi will meet the love of her life, as well as good friends. But she will also find out more about her roots and where her own family in the present comes from.
That being said, Butterfly and Pins Vol. 1 is called 'Love in an age of turmoil'.
~~~

Volume 2 will continue to tell the story of what happened with the characters after Kim Yoon-Yi left Joseon and returned to her own time. Namely, it will focus on Yoon-Yi's cousin Kim Jung-Hee and her partner Hwangbo Hyun.

In this volume there will be lots of new characters. The political plot will be mostly in the background, only lightly hinted at. But it is the main force driving this section of the book, as the story will culminate with having the plot revealed, as well as its success/failure. Hence, the title of this volume is 'A missing part of history'.

So, here there will be more than one main character and different perspectives (not different POVs as the story will continue to be told in third person). Since some of the characters from Volume 1 will make an appearance, this second part of the story story can be considered both a sequel and a spin-off story.

Last, but not least, I would like to offer sincere thanks to all of you who have read and supported this book!

If you enjoyed this story, even if just a little, I would be very happy! I am looking forward to reading your thoughts and feedback, so don't be shy and drop a comment or a review. ^_~
