Chapter 58

It was true that, considering the dire situation they were in, Hyun should at least possess some sort of weapon. In order to protect Jung-Hee and himself he couldn't very well waltz around the battleground and hope to defeat the enemies with his bare hands.

Therefore, in spite of all his previous hesitation, Hyun ultimately swallowed the rest of his protests and gripped the sword tightly with both hands.

"Thank you." He said, looking Jun in the eye.

To his surprise, the man snorted and gestured with his chin towards the man he had just robbed the sword from.

"Don't thank me. Thank this guy over there, since he was so kind as to lend you his weapon."

After saying that, Jun raised a hand and searched through his robes. Under Hyun and Jung-Hee's curious eyes, he eventually pulled out a short dagger in a leather sheath. A moment later, he showed it to Jung-Hee.
