CHAPTER FOURTEEN

It has been a few days since they came back from the island. Yami, Erza, and the rest had just come back from completing a mission.

Lucy was complaining about how they all followed her on a solo mission. As they were moving towards the guild the people around them start whispering.

"what up with them?" Nastu asked.

They're looking at us somehow" Gray said as he looks at their faces.

"Guys we better hurry," Yami said as he rushes to the guild.

When they moved closer, they looked to where the guild was, but it wasn't in its ordinary shape

They then quickly made their way back to the Fairy Tail guild and as they may have seen, it's not what it was before. Large pillars of steel have penetrated the building and poked out of large gaping holes.

"They came," Yami said, of course, he knew what happen to the guild but he wasn't expecting it to come this fast.

"Who did this?" Ezra said with a frown on her face.

"It was Phantom." Mirajane appeared behind them. She gripped her hand tightly in anger.

"Are you serious?" Gray questioned.

Natsu's face was one of pure rage. "You mean; Phantom did this?"

She then led them to the basement of the guild, which seemed unscathed by the attack. Many of the usual guild members that hung out at the guildhall now littered the basement, sitting on barrels that were makeshift chairs. They hung their heads dejectedly, creating a heavy atmosphere.

"Not to worry, you don't need to get yourselves worked up. It's not the end of the world or anything." The master took a deep swig of his booze.

"You look too calm about this master," Yami said

Mirajane said, looking aside. "He's mad, but the conflict between the guilds is strictly forbidden by the council."

"Oh yeah Yami I have a mission for you" the master looks at Yami

"Huh, master you want me to go for a mission when the guild is like this?" Yami was shocked

"Why not? and this an important mission"

"Master I think we should leave it till this situation is settled" Yami argued "if they attacked now, they might come back"

He knows that they will certainly come. He was planning to stop Gageel from attacking the levy's group.

"His right master" Erza agreed

"That is enough, it's a mission is from the council and we can settle anything here," the master said as he passes Yami a poster.

"A dark guild? Can't others take care of it?" Yami said as he read the request

"I don't know but it is an S-class mission," the master said while drinking.

"Can't Lexus go?"

"He already on another mission"

Gritting his teeth Yami finally agreed "Erza! I need you to keep an eye for the phantom member in the city can you do that"

"Okay" she nods

"Alright I will be going" Yami turns and starts to move out

Now?" Mirajane said

"Yeah the place is not too far I should be able to come back in two days if I am fast enough"

Coming out of the guild Yami made wings from dark magic. His magic was more flexible than the original from the black cover. So, he had other magic he can use.

Taking flight Yami rushes so he can come back before the Phantom attack.

After six hours of flying at full speed, Yami finally arrived at his destination. It was a city in Fiore. The city was looking dull as there weren't people in the street.

'It must be the dark guild doing' Yami thought

The mission was about a dark guild called Ashura that have been terrorizing the city for some time. Walking into the city he heads for the mayor's house.

In front of the gate, Yami asked the guards to inform the mayor of his arrival.

"Welcome mage of Fairy tail I have been expecting you" the mayor walks out to greet Yami

"Let get to it. I don't have all day." Yami said with a frown

"Ah!! Yes, yes come in" he invited Yami in

"what can you tell me about this Ashura guild?" Yami asked as they sat down.

"Nothing much really, they just appeared a month ago and started to kidnap the people we contacted some guild some time ago but they weren't able to defeat them," the mayor said.

"Where are they located?"

"At the northern forest. They a base there"

"Alright, thanks" Yami got up and quickly left the house.

The northern forest was a bit far from the city. Half an hour later Yami finally reached the forest. It was had a lot of large trees, with a lot of them together they make the forest look a bit gloomy making it a perfect spot for the dark guilds to make a base.

"Hmm from the Ki around the forest it should have some sort of illusion magic around it," Yami said

Naturally, with his Ki, he can easily feel the changes to a certain environment so the magic wasn't able to avoid his notice.

After knowing what was in store Yami walk into the forest with no concern for the illusion as it couldn't affect his senses.

In a broken-down castle inside the forest. A man rushes into the room where a man was sitting on the throne.

"Leader someone has got into the forest"

"Hmm?" The man opens his eyes "another one of those mages has come again?"

"Yes, leader and this one is a lot stronger than the other that came before," the minion said "he passed through the forest without getting affected by the illusion"

"Hmm, but it makes no difference"

"That is right" he nodded as his eye glowed

He didn't doubt his leader as he has proven his strength by defeating every mage that has come.

Yami continues to move not knowing he has already been found. Even if he knew it won't make a difference to him.

it was already night when Yami arrived at the castle. Not wasting time Yami kicks down the front door. He walks in only to be surrounded by dark mages.

"Look guys another one has come to meet his maker"

"hehe let hope he is better than the others"

Yami wasn't surprised by them as he has felt their KI before he kicked the door

"Air boom"

''fire tornado"

''water blade"

''rush rock"

different attacks were moving toward Yami. but Yami was indifferent about it as he put his hand forward creating a magic circle

{dark magic: black hole}

the dark magic gathered to make a black sphere as it sucked all the magic attacks.

"what?? how did he do that?"

the dark mages were scared not knowing what to do.

"I don't have much time to waste let get this over with," Yami said as he draws his sword.

{dark magic: lightless blunt wild slashes}

In an instant, all the mages were wiped out. Although he didn't kill them they won't be able to get up any time soon.

"Well let's go meet the boss"
