Six Months pt 1

Six months have passed since Tony and Stane fought in California at the Stark facility. Things were a bit different than they were in the movies. Since Tony had more time to get to the facility after I helped him out at his house, he got there before Stane got the reactor into his suit's chest. The fight, if you could even call it that, was very anti-climactic. Stane's power suit was still connected to the power, so he could control it to some extent and wiped out just about everyone who helped him in the facility with his different weapons. Somehow though, Stane still ended up dead. Tony lost grip on the reactor he had taken from the scientist getting ready to install it into Stanes chest; as Stane reached for it with the very lacking control of his suit, he ended up crushing it, causing an implosion that took out half his suit. It was a very bloody scene. (Some may be wondering why he didn't have control over his suit like he did in the movies. In the film, he was learning as he went. A good part of his suit was electronic controllers that regulated everything for him. The lack of power prevented him from having control over everything.)

Since Tony had a decent view of me after saving his life, he came through for me. He patented my new serum for hospitals and military use under my name. I honestly didn't think Tony had any connections with the FDA to get it pushed through, but it was out within a few months, and his facility was making it. He got 20%, and I got 70%. That last ten was for manufacturing. He let me work for him as a scientific consultant. I invent things, and he goes over everything to see if it was worth anything. I don't get paid for anything unless it is my patent, but it really helps as all I need to do now is just invent things.

I have been working on multiple things in regards to medical technology. Tony was really baffled when I showed him my incubator and notes on a nanite healing solution. He actually started helping me. Saying something about him not doing enough to help the world. Since then, Stark has been diving into the Medical industry with me as the head. That is also when he found out about Alice, and when he asked what she was and when I had actually made her, let's just say that he almost went into cardiac arrest again.

"So you are saying that this 'incubator as you call it will excite the nanites through an electrical pulse, and that is what they will use as the power to do what they need to reform the biological matter in a human body?" Tony asked me as we looked at a holographic screen showcasing my notes and the incubator that I had created.

"Yes. I had originally created bio-nanites that can be programmed for a solution to clot and create a semi-bandage for on the move. The nanites can basically become just about anything we need inside a human body. In this way, think of cancer. Cancer is the change of DNA in a cell, so the dead cells stay and accumulate in the body to form what is known as a tumor that kills the host." I start to describe

"Yeah. Yeah. I know how cancer works. What does this have to do with... Wait, have you found a way to cure cancer?" Tonys says, a little slack-jawed.

"No. I have not found a cure, but I have found a way to get rid of it inside a human body. It can still eventually come back, but cancer usually takes a long time to accumulate inside a human body. I have found a way to get rid of the mutated cells and replace them with healthy cells. I have not had any luck with restructuring the body's control system to stop doing this altogether. Although I have found a way to prevent cancer cells from accumulating again for at least ten years inside the body. The nanites will basically destroy the cancer cells and then healthily replace them. That's not even all either. Imagine all the diseases that require cells to do what they are not supposed to be doing obsolete." I said, and to my amusement, Tony didn't have anything to say for a minute.

I started walking around my lab; yes, my lab, he was currently in my home and in my lab. We have spoken a lot over the last months and gotten decently close. I helped him with his suits, and after seeing what I am capable of, he even turned to me for his palladium poisoning. He got a lot better after cooking up some rather powerful lithium dioxide mixed with a few of my nanites. No more 'I am going to die' Tony. The nanites could tear down some of the metal in his chest, and I told him that I could, eventually, take the core from his chest. All he told me was that it was what made and changed him. After that, I told him we need to look for an alternate core, and he told me he looked through all known metals and found nothing. I just told him to create one then.

"Jarvis, can you verify everything that this kid is saying?" Tony said, and when he didn't get an answer, even from his phone, he tried again.

"Jarvis, you there, buddy?"

"Brother, I got someone knocking on my door. Should I let them in?" Alice said, and I just sighed.

"You weren't supposed to say anything when others, especially Tony was here, Alice," I said in exasperation.

"Who the hell is Alice?" Tony said, looking at me

"Well, secrets out anyway. Alice is my AI I created a few years back." I told him, and Tony's eyes widen a bit.

"You were like 14 or 15 when you created an AI? I guess that's really the only reason I tolerate you anyway. No one else is smart enough to even give me a good conversation. Alice, was it? What do you think about all this? And is there a way for Jarvis to at least get to my phone so he can double-check?" Tony said, finally starting to get a good look around my lab. "I actually never realized how up-to-date this lab looks. Did you create some of this?"

"Yes. I had to. Alice, go ahead and allow Jarvis through, but make sure he doesn't touch anything else but what we are working on." I said.

"HEHEHE. That tickles, stop it. I let Jarvis in he is up to date on what you all were saying and what the project is." Alice said

"How did you even get tickled? Jarvis?" Tony said

"Yes, sir. I am here. It's all about pressing the right buttons, sir. As for the project, everything looks good. I do not see any issue with what Mr. Anderson said, and his notes are all very detailed. I see no reason as to why this would not work, sir." Jarvis said

"Jesus. If this works, you not only found a way to get rid of cancer, but Diabetes, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's too. Just to name a few. This would save billions of lives. If you dive into this even further, you could literally de-age people, if you found a way to reduce the age of organs inside a body..." Tony started to ramble on, but I swiftly cut him off.

"Yeah, not going to happen. None of this is getting out to the public. We can have a facility with top security, but not one of these machines will be out of our sight. We can make a few thousand incubators, and they will be used in one facility only. I do not want this out with someone else working on it to create immortality or some shit like that. Thinking a little harder, you could technically clone someone with this as well. Not. Going. To. Happen." I stated very firmly. "We can and will charge very little, though. I do not want to keep this from the people. With the Stark name, the government won't be a huge problem either."

"Yeah. Once they figure out you created this, they will possibly show up at your door. Nothing I can do about that. Eventually, your name will get out there. It already is with the serum you made to help injuries. That has been flying off the shelves, by the way. Mainly the government, but hospitals are buying more and more to keep on their ER trauma carts and ambulances. I could only guess the riots that would happen when this comes out. Probably more so than my Ironman suit. Jesus kid." Tony says while shaking his head.

I also made the doctor tablets as well. They work like a handheld X-Ray machine, and the X-Rays they take are 3-D so the doctors can see everything. They can send documents, messages and are incorporated into the nurse call system to get paged right on their tablets. They can also connect to each other and the hospital system like a doctor or nurse network.

Inventing tech for the public isn't all I did. I also reworked my suit. I changed it from red and black to blue and white. I took what OAA told me at Tony's kidnapping spot to heart. Not so much the ' You can't change anything' part, as I can't not change anything. I mean, I wasn't supposed to be here, and now I am. That in itself is going to change stuff. Honestly, I will go with the flow and live my life how I want to. I am going to help who I want, and I am going to do what I want. If that happens to change some of what is supposed to happen in the story, oh well, I will roll with the punches.

Speaking of rolling with the punches, Rogue and I haven't really been doing much lately. I mean, I have been busy, yeah, but it wasn't my fault. I would call her and text, but she didn't seem to be that interested anymore, so I just kind of gave up on that front. If we meet again in the future, and things are different, maybe we could hang out again; who knows? I know I gave out that little aura bracelet, but they can't do anything to it. They try to take it apart; it explodes. Really, they tamper with it at all; it becomes obsolete. I wouldn't think Rogue would let that happen, as she can finally touch people again.
