Safe place?

As it was sunset, they were now back at the outskirts of Vampia kingdom.

Thelamia's body was already cleansed from all impurities. Not only that, she was now wearing her original Goddess outfit. Though, she still looked-like a sultry woman perfect for a beach photoshoot.

Thelamia touched her lips as she was just dumbfounded by the non-sophisticated place,

"What's this place Geno? It looks too simple."

Genocide just held his hips with confidence,

"You'll know when you see it."

Spheera's cybernetic eyes observed that in front of them was the entrance of a humble-looking house. Around the house, it also had a nice lawn and white fence.

Not much soon, he knocked at the white wooden door,

"We're here now mom! So open up!"

Later, they heard the voice of the irritated Julieth getting louder and louder,

"How much do I have to tell you my dear son. Just open.—"

When she swung the door open, she had a loss for words when she saw Thelamia standing by the entrance.

Thelamia was filled with surprise when she saw Julieth wearing a pink apron that covered her queenly outfit,

"Hey Julie! What's this place? And why are you dressed like that?"

Immediately, Julieth glared at her own son. Though, Genocide just grinned as he was a childish joker. Soon, Julieth just sighed and returned her focus unto Thelamia,

"It's our home."

Thelamia was immensely shocked,

"HUUUUUWWWEEEHHHH?!"

Sooner or later, they entered inside. Thelamia percieved that the living room wasn't extravagant. Rather, the furnitures looked simple and there weren't much decorations hung along the walls either. Thereon, Thelamia was just dumbstruck and she remembered something important,

"Wa-wait, you two aren't living in the castle?!"

Genocide took a seat at the nearby sofa,

"While we go to the castle, mom prefers to live here. Besides, this place is more cozy and relaxed."

Julieth agreed with her son,

"Yes and it is easier to manage. I don't want my son to flirt with just some MAID at that castle."

Genocide just laughed and slappped his legs.

Though, Thelamia was even more mystified,

"Okay?"

Then, she asked one more question, while she was touching her puffy lips,

"By the way, does Zero live here too?"

There was awkward silence in the air as Julieth didn't reply sooner.

Julieth just looked away with a depressing look of a crystal maiden,

"Sadly, he doesn't live here."

She remembered something,

"Oh crap! I forgot I was cooking!"

There after, she rushed back to the kitchen in a jiffy. Afterwards, Thelamia sat beside Genocide and she grabbed Spheera and placed it on top of her laps.

Genocide noticed that Thelamia was caressing her little assistant like it was a mere kitty-kat. He made a jice smile as he saw how caring the Goddess beside him was.

Suddenly, the door opened and the sophisticated and uptight Zero entered.

Genocide crossed his arms with pride,

"It's quite rare to see you here, dad."

Zero shifted his head to look at his son,

"I just wanted to see how Julie abd Thamy are doing..."

He took notice of Thelamia was just beside his son,

"Also, it's quite nice to see you again Thamy."

Then he offered her a crystal sphere as it was made out of clustered sapphires and diamonds,

"Here..."

Thelamia accepted it, but she was just dumbfounded by it,

"What's this Zero?"

Though, Zero just changed the subject and also witnessed that there was a huge rucksack in-between the two,

"What with all those stuff behind you?"

Genocide grinned,

"Well dad, Thamy's gonna luve here."

Thelamia was flabbergasted,

"HUUUUUWWWEEEEHHHH?!"

Even Spheera was startled.

Genocide just patted her shoulder to ease her tensions,

"Don't ya worry Thamy. I'll be right there beside you, literally."

Thelamia had mixed emotions about it, especially in her mind,

"I-I'm gonna live with Geno?"

Zero nodded,

"Is that so, well you should get right to it. I remember Thamy has lots of strange things."

When Genocide and his companions were done watching from the small flat-screen tv, he stood up. His hand grabbed the rucksack. Then, he escorted Thelamia and Spheera to his room.

As they entered the bedroom designated at the second floor, Thelamia's eyes were caught with surprise. She observed that there were lots of compicated and odd contraptions scattered along the place.

Genocide just scratched the back of his head,

"Don't mind those thingies and to your right, that's your bed."

Thelamia saw that there were two single white and black beds side by side each having their own small cabinet. To her right it was the white one, while Genocide flopped his body unto the black one at the left.

Afterwards, they grabbed the things from her rucksack and placed those things on top of her bed for the time being.

Later on, they heard the voice of Julieth echoing down below,

"Thamy! Genocide! It's dinner time now!"

Genocide grabbed Thelamia's hand and they sprinted to the dining room at the first floor.

There, Zero and Julieth were at each end of the table, waiting for them. Thelamia was even more confused that the dining room was not lavish compared to anything at the castle,

"Uh huh..."

As they sat on their seats, Thelamia took witness of the mouthwatering food. There was whole roast chicken soaked with gravy and mashed potato at the side. Though, Thelamia had her doubts due to the simplicity of the menu before her.

Soon, all of them ate to their fullest.

Genocide was loving his meal as he was a little kid who was fond of his mom's cooking,

"As usual, mom's cooking is the best! Really though, the food at the castle is too bland."

When Thelamia was done taking her first bite, she expressed her doubts,

"I just have one question."

Julieth made a smile,

"What is it Thamy?"

Thelamia smacked the table and stood up,

"How come you're not dining at that luxurious castle?! You're all royalties right?!"

Julieth took a spoonful of her chicken piece,

"Thamy, we kinda prefer simpler lives."

Genocide just nodded confidently.

Thelamia just facepalmed after that,

"I can't believe Julie's still this humble even if she became rich."

There after, they continued on their normal feast. Soon, they were all finished eating their meal.

It was night time, Spheera was now slumbering on the sofa, since its metal stomach was full.

Thelamia was just finished with her bath. Then, she wore her usual divine outfit that fit her pefectly like a glove. Her attention was caught over the seeping light coming from the nearly oprned door,

"Hm?"

She took a sneak peek. There, she saw Zero and Julieth. Though, Thelamia's eyes widened when she saw Julieth. She witnessed that the voluptuous Julieth was wearing nothing, but a tempting lingerie of the silky midnight sky. More so, the eavesdropping Goddess witnessed that Julieth was about to lure Zero into passionate intimacy. The silly Goddess grew more and more curious. Thereon, she continued to observe tge two lovers in the night.

Zero took a drink of his blood wine, while was liking the passionate gaze of his wife while he was being entranced by her.

In front of him, Julieth was similar to a sophisticated courtesan, while having the sultry asset of an engaging stripper.

As Julieth was teasing and seducing her own husband, she opened up a serious conversation,

"Tell me the truth Zero, are you happy that you saw Goddess Thamy again?"

Then, she continued with her glorious striptease of a private dancer in a vip room .

Zero just scoffed and took a sip of his drink,

"The only Goddess in my eyes now is you. My Goddess and savior Julieth."

When she heard those straightforward words from her husband, she was just shut into silence.

Though, she made a subtle frown, as she was swirling with guilt inside her core,

"I thought he'd be happy."

Suddenly, Zero vanished into the fray.

Julieth sighed and closed her eyes.

Without any warning, she felt the manly lips of Zero touching her soft lips of a model. Julieth grew nervous. Her eyes grew restless. She looked around. There, she took notice that her Goddess friend was watching them behind the crevice of the door,

"Thamy?!"

The next moment, Thelamia rushed away and dropped the crystal sphere into the wooden floor. She ran away with an aching heart and dropping a trail of sorrowful fragments,

"Why Zero why! I know he's already married to Julie, but why does it hurt so much!"

She snucked into Genocide's room and slammed the door shut. Then, she weeped in the soft silent winds at her bed. Not much soon, she heard a knock and heard the voice of Julieth by the door,

"Thamy it's me...I'm sorry you had to see that."

Thelamia just seethed with rage,

"You already won okay! SO LEAVE ME ALONE!"

Julieth just looked down and moved away with disappointment behind her back. There after, Thelamia continued to cry more and more. Soon, she heard a knock on the door once again. She just shouted,

"Go away!"

Genocide's voice was heard outside this time around,

"You do realize that's our room right?"

The weeping Goddess just didn't respond.

Genocide just sighed,

"Nevermind, I got keys anyway."

When Genocide entered, Thelamia took a glimpse that he was eating a pack filled with chocolate coated almonds.

Thelamia noticed that his companion wouldn't stop with her neverevending crying. Thereon, he rubbed her head and gave her a tease,

"This is rare. The cheerful and happy-go-lucky Goddess herself is crying."

Thelamia just shoved away his caressing hand,

"Shut up!"

Genocide held his own hips and looked at the Goddess below,

"Let me guess, father and mother let you see something unpleasant huh? Really...those two need to lock their room."

He caught his breath and continued afterwards,

"I can't even eat my midnight snacks in peace without hearing those two moaning."

Thelamia just grit her teeth and glared at him,

"Yea and why do you care!"

Genocide just pat her head and offered her chocolate-coated almonds,

"Here, I hope these choco balls or something will help you feel better."

Thelamia looked annoyed of his offer. Though, she just grabbed them and ate those almonds frustratedly.

Genocide scratched the back of his head,

"Oh yeah, I got nothing to do now and my gadgets are charging right now, so I'll be your companion."

Thelamia gave him a cold, yet fiery stare,

"How about THOSE GIRLS of yours!"

He just rubbed her frustrated top,

"Err they're happy living their own lives now."

Thelamia just looked away,

"Kay..."

Genocide felt that Thelamia seemed to calm down now. Soon, he brought out pieces of the broken crystal,

"I almost forgot, here."

Thelamia just made a long winding sigh,

"I guess I broke it."

Genocide tipped his hat,

"Not to worry."

He whispered out a magical chant. In a jiffy, the crystal fragments turned back into a crystal ball. It even looked unscathed as it was never even broken.

Thelamia was amazed,

"Wow, you're really a gifted inventor."

Genocide just laughed,

"Heheheh! Not really, I just likr making things from broken things and scraps. It's even more convenient with magic."

Then, he held his chest with pride,

"Call me a LAZY inventor!"

Thelamia made a faded smile,

"I see."

Thelamia opened up a different subject,

"Geno, is it alright if I tell you something about your father and why I like him?"

Genocide nodded,

"Yeah sure why not."

Afterwards, she told she was attracted of how chivalrous, cool, and cheerful Zero before was. Though, Genocide couldn't keep up with Thelamia's wacky lifestory with Zero and his mom before. There after he just laughed out loud,

"Really?! Gahahahah! You had a crush on dad? And my dad was like that before?"

Thelamia just touched her fingertips as she was a shy maiden,

"Y-yea."

Genocide was intrigued by her story. Then, he scratched his lower chin,

"So he was a tiny bit similar to me before huh? Wow dad really changed drsstically I see."

Thelamia agreed,

"Yea, I couldn't even recognize him when I saw him. It's like he was a different person now."

Genocide just assumed,

"Must be because of that war before. Yeah, war does change peeps."

He grinned afterwards,

"But I don't know if you've noticed this but. When mom and dad saw you for the past few weeks. I could feel their coldness were melting bit by bit."

Thelamia was stunned in inside her mind,

"Really?! Wow! I never knew that!"

After that, both of them exchanged lifestories, even embarassing ones. The air of sadness withered and the two were being fond of each others stories. The atmosphere around the two wasn't passionate or intimate. Instead, they had a different kind of bond of understanding each others lives.

More so, Thelamia's heart wasn't aching anymore.

Though, Thelamia laughed lots, when Genocide told his wacky antics in his exploration. Soon, Thelamia looked at him with a complacent smile,

"Thanks for cheering me up Geno."

Genocide just scoffed and scratched the back of his head,

"Naaaah, it was nothing really. Oh ueah, I think our phone is juiced up now. Dunno about yours though."

"Mine's already full batt you see,"

Thelamia revealed her phone and dangled it for Genocide to see the full battery bar.

Genocide nodded with intrigue,

"Dang. So phones from Celestia Heavens are also better huh. Wish we could return to that amazing place again."

Thelamia replied,

"Yea but we srill need to do something tomorrow right?"

Genocide scratched the back of his head once again,

"Err I forgot...Yeah travel to that place that I told you about."

Later on, the two of them slept on seperate beds. Spheera entered through the open window and snuggled near its master's bountiful rack.

The door opened made a creak.

Thereon, Thelamia and Genocide awakened from their slumber. Thelamia asked Julieth,

"Julie? What's up?"

Julieth gave both of them a black invitation with a golde scarlet seal. Then, she nodded at her son determinedly,

"It's that time again, my dear son."

Genocide nodded back filled with seriousness. There after, he made a grin and shifted his look at Thelamia,

"Thamy, change of plans. At morning we're going to go.—"

Julieth interrupted,

"And I'll be accompanying you two again."

Then, she made an eager smile abd flicked her son's forehead hard,

"Since I don't want my dear best friend Thamy wearing something inappropriate."

Genocide was down in the gutters, especially in his mind,

"There goes my fantasy of showcasing my Goddess pet."

Though, Thelamia was just filled with uncertainty,

"Eh?"
