Kingdom Azuria

Zero in his new outfit, was walking along the deluxe hallways, while he was accompanied by his queen of elegance.

"So Julie, what do you think of the people's chosen representatives?"

Zero said to his wife.

Julieth didn't respond immediately, rather she just rolled her eyes while she had disturbed look,

"I-I must say, they're a lively bunch. I think you're already familiar with them, reappointed king by the masses."

Zero just scratched his lower chin,

"Familiar I see."

Soon, they were now in front of the huge redwood doors engraved with crystal fragments as decorations. More so, there were servants near the sides of the doorway.

Zero took a deep breath and the servants opened the door. He granted entry for his wife as he was a true gentleman. Then, He followed her afterwards.

When they looked around, they saw a rowdy bunch inside the extravagant dining room they were in. Marla, Syvil, the Valkyrie Queen, Rae, Destruct, and the same demanding Goddesses were there chatting, while sitting on their respective chairs.

As the royal couple turned to their right, they saw Raze was trying to stop Thelamia and Genocide from beating each other up.

Thelamia took notice of the married royalties and just made a brilliant sun-like smile,

"Oh hey Zero and Julie! Guess what, I just won a staring contest with Geno and the reward was his piece of pudding!"

She gave a pout,

"I won! But Geno won't give me his pudding!"

Genocide sighed with gestures,

"I said something caught my eye Thamy! And I had to rub it off!"

Raze just looked away,

"Yes and I'm trying to stop these two from making a huge scandal."

A long winding sigh was the only response of Zero,

"Yes...truly familiar people my queen."

Soon, liveliness had ceased. Instead, a sophisticated air was summoned, when the royal couple took a seat. Before dinner was served, Zero stood up and made an announcement,

"Thanks to the voices of the people, all of you are here before now to represent and guide them for the better."

He caught his breath and resumed afterwards,

"Now to make a warm welcome, I invited all of younhere to partake in this humble dinner to know more about ourselves."

Sooner or later, dinner was served to their plates. When they opened their silver trays, most of them just had unexplainable looks. Thereon, silence seeped along the air.

"Uhhh ummm Zero? Where's the dinner?"

Even Thelamia looked dumbfounded when she saw her plate. She only had a scoop of mashed potato complimented with delicious strips of bacon.

Zero just nodded,

"Thamy, that's the dinner itself."

Everyone just made a worried smile, while their eyebrows were twitching,

"I guess this is one of those called humble meals."

"Ahhh, mashed potatoes! My favorite."

Zero noticed that Julieth stood up with a darkened mask of sorrow on her face. She stood in front of the wall behind. Then, she bonked her forehead filled with disappointment at the wall,

"Why didn't you let me and the royal chef atleast cook a proper dinner Zero...why..."

Almost everyone was startled.

She moped and moped,

"Are you trying to make a fool out of my expertise Zero?"

Zero just looked dumbfounded,

"I don't know what you mean my dear Julie?"

He crossed his arms,

"Didn't we decode before that we won't have a grand feast. To show our humility and sincerity this time around?"

The poor Julieth shifted her head to her husband,

"Yes but...this is over the top Zero...You're degrading our diplomatic relations and my craft."

Thelamia remembered something and made an alarming gesture,

"Oh yea! Julie's good at cooking and even amazing at low budget fine dining."

Then, another Goddess agreed,

"Yup! I'm quite shocked she can make exquisite dishes even with not much high quality ingredients."

The winged Syvil took a scoop of the mashed potato,

"I must say, it tastes kinda good. It's like the same as our homeland."

Julieth just crouched at the corner and burrowed herself in sulky regrets,

"Why Zero...why...do you hate my cooking?"

Zero just pitied his wife,

"Julie..."

Sooner or later, all of them were done eating their mashed potatoes with bacon slices except Julieth.

Thelamia was filled with delight,

"Wow, who knew that meal was so good! I wonder who made this?"

Genocide crossed his arms,

"I think dad made it, since he was busy at the kitchen."

Zero nodded,

"Yes you are correct Genocide. Your mother was busy with her paperworks, so I had to ease off some of her pressure."

Whe the other representatives heard those words from their king, they were getting fond of him more.

The valkyrie queen smiled,

"Now that's a considerate husband. Yet, you shouldn't really have taken the role in the kitchen, since you're the king for pete's sake."

Zero observed that Julieth's meal was untouched. He just scratched his chin and thought of something. Not much soon, he grabbed her plate and went close to her. Then, he gave her the look of a concerned husband,

"My dear Julie...you haven't eaten your meal yet."

Julieth just looked away,

"I'm not hungr—."

She was interrupted, when Zero gave her a spoonful of a mashed potato. When she was feeling the hot and moist sensation of the food she had eaten, her regrets went down the drain,

"It's delicious. Even if it looks a little bland. I wonder who made this?"

Zero touched the smooth cheek of his wife,

"Like I said before, I had to make this since you were too busy with your paperworks. Due to the drastic and sudden reforms."

Julieth blushed as she was a maiden who was heartfelt by her hero,

"Awww, yah did that for me? Oh yah and give me more my dear eternal lover."

Zero was pleased by her response. Thereupon, he gave her more spoonfuls of her meal. While he was feeding her, he witnessed that her ears were twitching with each bite.

Everybody was touched by the licorice-slathered scene made by the king and queen of mutual hearts,

"Awwww, that's so wholesome."

"I agree wholeheartedly. It is truly a fleeting sight to behold especially from the king and queen."

Thelamia nodded,

"Yup! It's such a romantic—."

Suddenly, she felt that her mouth was choked with a spoonful of food without warning. Her eyes saw that Genocide was the one who gave her the food.

Genocide grinned at her,

"How was it my dear Goddess?"

Thelamia touched her lips and looked above the grandiose ceiling,

"It's..."

Not much soon, her mouth was on fire. Her ears burst out steam as she was a kettle ready to burst due to intense heat.

"TOO SPICY! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU PUT HERE GENO?!"

Thelamia exclaimed and pointed at him, while she was feeling that her mouth was being cooked inside-out.

Genocide just crossed his arms complacently,

"It's just hot sauce from the fairy village."

Marla had the sinistry of a demoness on her face,

"Even just one tiny drop could make anyone feel their mouth is on fire."

Thelamia looked around left and right, although the water glasses were all empty,

"WATER! I NEED WATER!"

She became unconscious afterwards, as she was totally exhausted from the burning heat of the desert. Sooner or later, she regained consciousness and heard Genocide's voice,

"Eyyy Thamy! Wakey wakey!"

Thelamia opened her eyes and she looked around,

"Wah what?"

Zero crossed his arms,

"It seems you're awake now Thamy."

When she looked to her left and right, Zero and Julieth were already sitting on their resepctive seats.

Zero held his hands together composedly,

"Now why don't we start off the first sudden meeting by thinking for a new name for our kingdom? I could feel that Vampia won't be a proper name anymore. Since, we shall be intermingling with the various people from different places better and fairer this time around."

Everyone brainstormed hard.

Raves expressed his opinion first,

"I suggest that we should represent the new kingdom based on its new symblic colors of blue, white, and black."

Sylvia fanned herself,

"Yes, blue is for harmony and serenity."

Then, the other Goddess joined in,

"White is for light."

Zero nodded,

"And black is the scar of its dark history that we should learn upon so we won't create more bloody scars."

Everyone agreed, as they were in a serious meeting.

Then, Destruct told his thoughts with added charm,

"Though, since the kingdom is still rich in minerals, resources, and progress, the name should also prove its beauty."

Raze was delighted by his cousin's ideas,

"Yes, something like a gem."

Genocide started to guess,

"Amethyst? No...Onyx? Nope it's too dark."

The Valkyrie queen hummed,

"Opal? No, it's too white and would prove that the kingdom took a drastic change or it's just hypocrisy that mocks the people. What we're after is gradual change, not drastic change."

Marla and the others butted in,

"Ruby? Yet, it has the color of blood, which srepresents carnage and desperation still."

"Diamond, but it's too expensive."

Soon, Thelamia expressed her own ridiculous idea,

"Hmmmm..what about Azuria?"

Sylvia's one wing fluttered gracefully,

"Azuria, a magical gem huh."

Genocide smacked the table with a joyful smile,

"THAT'S IT, THAMY!"

Thelamia was just dumbfounded,

"Eh?"

Strangely enough, the others were also in favor of her suggestion,

"I like it, it's one of the gems that are used to make magical crysalis."

"The mines at my homeland have a lot of those! Ufufufu! Well, we're now also considered a part of Azuria and no longer an oppressed colony recently. Thanks to the Queen's reforms."

"Not to mention, that gemstone is considered to be maker of miracles and soothes anyone's heart by its deep blue ocean color."

"It's also considered a traditional gift in my humble village."

"I wonder what the king thinks of this?"

Zero noticed that the people around him from various nations were fond of Thelamia's idea. Thereon, he nodded with a sincere smile,

"Azuria, I see. It's a symbol of solidarity as well. Do all of you agree with Thelamia's suggestion?"

All of them agreed. There after, Julieth second the motion,

"Then, it's settled. The new name of this kingdom shall be named Azuria. And the founder is Goddess Thelamia herself, my counterpart."

How shocked Thelamia was,

"EHHHHHH?!"

Later on, Thelamia and Julieth were looking at the starry night outside the castle balcony. Both of them were hearing joys below from a short distance. Citizens were strolling along the streets with vigor. The two Goddesses could also see the illuminating lights as they stars below.

Julieth took a sip of her aromatic wine,

"What do you think of this new change Thamy?"

Thelamia looked around,

"Ummm, I can't really explain it, but it feels nice!"

Julieth made a smile of grace,

"And there will be more changes to come. In order to make everyone live better, while letting Athlus and the kingdom to be even more blessed through brighter progression."

Thelamia was filled with joy,

"Yay!"

There after, Julieth took another sip and flipped her hair,

"But really, I never knew that the people would vote for yah. Even if they only knew yah proved to be a Goddess to all of them for the first time."

Thelamia just made a funny grin and bonked her silly head,

"Y-yea. I can't even believe they still chose Zero and you to be the king and queen, even if your reign was well...kinda atrocious before."

Julieth nodded and just facepalmed,

"They should really try to consider other better people to be rulers."

Thelamia tried to put a smile on Julieth's face,

"But, atleast they're loyal right?"

Julieth just sighed,

"That's what worries me. Their absolute loyalty costed their lives."

A while later, Genocide and the floating Spheera approached Thelamia and Julieth.

Genocide looked hesitant, but he spilt the beans soon enough,

"Ummm mom...Thamy? Some kindof kessanger from Revelas sent me this."

He showed them a letter than had an exquisite seal of gold.

Spheera butted-in while it was a fuming ball,

"Honestly Geno! You should've just smited that guy down! He's the enemy and nothing comes good from 'em."

Genocide just tipped his hat with a grin,

"Well we should still be diplomatic even to our said enemies. Besides, I didn't sense any hostility from him."

Spheera wasn't happy of his answer,

"Ugh! You slimy political pervert! I can'tbbelieve they voted for you! And you even got the most votes!"

Julieth giggled,

"Anywho my son, why don't you give that letter to your father?"

Genocide just scratched the back of his head,

"Nahhhh. He said to give it to the Queen of Azuria. Boy, they caught wind of the name change news quickly."

"Too quickly,"

His mother just looked skeptic. Though, soon enough, shr read the contents and grit her raging teeth. She gave Thelamia a serious look and grabbed her hand,

"Thamy? We should go."

Thelamia just tilted her head sidewards,

"Ummm why?"

Julieth stared at her son immediately,

"My dear son, tell your father that we'll be just out for a while."

Genocide just scatched the back of his head,

Gee, okay?"

Thelamia and Julieth left in a snap. They went down the royal stairs and departed the castle in the night, while royal guards were accompanying them. Soon, they arrived at the walls outside of Azuria.

Thelamia observed that there was the crimson and golden carriage awaiting for their arrival. As soon as they entered the carriage, they were greeted by the mysterious king of Revalas inside,

"It's such a pleasure you could come, my dear Julieth."

He spread out his arms such as he was a cassanova,

"Now why don't we continue our passionate emb—."

Thelamia interrupted and raised her attentive hand,

"Ummm, I was invited here too by the way."

Julieth just crossed her effeminate hands and gave the Revelas king a cold stare of the abyss,

"Yes and I'm not interested to be your lover, Revelas king."

The king of death just facepalmed with a devious grin,

"Oh yes, since the two Goddesses are here now. Why don't I reveal my true mask. As he put down his hood, both Thelamia and Julieth were caught with surprise. It's as if they don't want to believe their own eyes,

"Z-ZERO?!"

Zero who was wearing the robe of the Revelas king just smirked as he was vile demon lord,

"It's been a while my dear Julieth and Thamy. And thank you for participating and showing a great performance."
