'Ring Ring'

The ringing alarm stopped ringing once I pressed it's top with my hand I looked at the date & time , the time was 7:30 and today's date 3/05. Finally the day has arrived , the day OGT will be conducted. I prepared for this final test for a long- sufficient time , atleast enough to get me a good rank.

It looked like my physique was getting better with all the workout I did , I tried to converse and socialize more. It was difficult and uncomfortable at first but I got bit comfortable as time went on.

Splashing my face with water I looked at my haira in the mirror , my black hairs had a small strip of red hairs on the left side of my face. It was something I did to remember the things I'd done to 'her'.

'It's just to make me feel better.'

Apparently the girls said I was some kind of material I don't remember their exact words.I took a bath and revised for the test one last time , while studying I peek out of the window and saw the bright shining sun , clear blue sky , the crappy as ever Sector#7 but even so I felt refreshed seeing that.

I got ready the time was 7:56 the test started at 9:00 , luckily the centre for my OGT was the university I attended. So it was just a 10 minute's walk to my test centre , on my way there I bought an energy drink as it was allowed to take those. The test lasted for 4 hours and before giving the test we had to do some paperwork so altogether it took approximately 5 hours to complete the whole process.

After reaching my university which was my test centre I filled the paperwork which was mandatory to fill , and finally went to my classroom number. Each classroom contained total of 30 students , the classroom were same as ever with a big window behind opposite to the projector screen on which our lecturer's taught us.

Even though Rails was one of the worst university on Continent Zex

The test was digital MCQ [Multiple Choice Questions] test which had total of 240 questions the field which I chose was I.T. in which I attended 2 courses so all the questions were related to those 2 courses. The result were quickly calculated with the system and we could get the result instantly at the end of the 4 hours test.

After spending 4 hours writing my test seriously for the first time , after finishing I my test I pressed the submit button present at the right corner of the screen.

As I looked at the result I couldn't help but shout ,

"Yeahhh."

I've never been this happy about any of my results in my whole life , I thought them as a by-product of my studying and nothing else. But this

'This sense of achievement it's my first time feeling it after a long time.'

I didn't ask Rin his result , I already knew he planned the same as me to get into gaming after graduation. I celebrated my results with the group I hanged out with , all of them did good on their OGT's after wrapping up the party , I went straight to my apartment to video call my parents and just talk with them.

I already told them my score right after I got the result , they sounded happy. I opened my door and went inside it and was surprised seeing my parents and my sister there.

"You guys didn't have to come visit me here just to celebrate."

I didn't notice my room at first seeing my parents but then I noticed that some of my stuff was not there , it wasn't much to start with anyways.

'So they came to pick me up.'

Knowing their intention I said ,

"Well then let's go 'Home'."

After saying that I talked them quite a lot while the workers moved my stuff into their truck. They already booked my ticket to Order#1 , I wanted to meet Rin one last time before leaving but I knew that I will see him at the meeting.

During the flight I opened my mails to check the message I got on the day I visited my family , it was from I.G. about the beta testers meeting. The contents were ,

Subject : Online beta tester meeting

Dear sir we have been getting all the beta testers feedbacks and have been working on them to make our 'Infinite' better. To show our progress we have taken the decision to update our game with the new update comes features like brand new Class selection , balance update and many more.

So to talk about the update in more details we have decided to call a online meeting with all the beta testers. The link for the meeting is given below , the meeting will be conducted on 5/05 , 18:00. Attending the meeting is mandatory.

The email teased the new version's new features a bit it looked like they worked on our feedback and implemented them in this upcoming update. The feature that intrigued me the most was 'Class Selection' , I kind of guessed that they had planned to bring in the next few update but not on the first one.

I still didn't choose which of the class I was going to choose I assumed that the classes will be divided like a typical RPG game into Warrior , Mage and like that. The one I'd choose out of them would probably be Mage but with pretty good agility. If special classes do exist I will find if there's any for magic swordsman.

'I guess I'll find that out later.'

I closed my eyes and slept on the whole flight with Rika on my left side , the next time I opened my eyes was when we reached Order#1. From their my dad and mom's driver came to pick us up , with my OGT over my parents asked me about the path I choosing.

I answered their questions during our car ride which lasted for 2 hours. Finally reaching our destination I stood infront the main door and said ,

"I'm back home."

Dad , mom and Rika went inside first just to welcome me , and said ,

"Welcome back."

And just like that my university day's came to an end , not the best days I've lived. But the best days of my life were soon to come.

'Now I am an unemployed man playing games , doesn't sound the best.'

After entering the house just as I was heading towards my old room my parents wanted to show me something. So instead of heading towards my room I followed my parents. They took me to the basement we had which was normally empty , it looked like the basement was clean and painted to create a roo-

'Is this going to be my room?'

"Welcome Axel to your new room , your old room would be pretty small for you so we decided to make a new room in the basement. We started the work right after you told us your were moving in , it's mostly done we will just wait for your stuff to come tomorrow and you can ask the butlers for help if you want."

The room was off-white coloured the room double the size of the apartment room I lived in. So without wasting time I sat on the table present in the left corner of my new room.

I opened my phone and synced the mails with the laptop that was already placed on my table. I surfed through gaming community the number 1 game right now was another RPG game 'Free' the concept was just like any other RPG game but Free was as classic as it gets.

I watched some of the videos of pro gamers playing Free , watching their gameplay I could see why Yuki said I powerless. I watched some of Finn's gameplay's too , to me Finn looked pretty normal person the time I met him. But his gameplay's showed me the true difference between me and Number 1 player.

'Those movements , the way utilized his magic spells , the perfect timing of using attacks , he's truly a monster.'

Watching top plays all the night for the first time I fell asleep in the morning. The next day was the day for online meeting , I didn't play Infinite when I was preparing for my test so I thought that it would be best to play it after the update.

The next day just a little before 18:00 I opened the mail and joined the meeting through the link given. I didn't have to press any button it just took me to the meeting with one press of the link.

At sharp 18:00 Rick switched on his camera and welcomed us , it looked like we didn't have the option to switch on our camera we could only use our microphone to ask any doubts.

"45 participants looks like everyone's here , I'm Rick the President of I.G. Group and In-charge of Project 'Infinite'. First of all I would like to thank you for attending the meeting , as the mail said we are here to discuss about the next beta version update that is beta 1.2 so without further ado let's start our meeting."
