"Hey brat , do you really believe you love her?"

Few minutes ago.

"I also met Princess Lecilia when I stayed at the palace , at first I thought that she was a tough to crack , prideful person. Like a princess who only care about status and power , but she was nothing like what I guessed when I talked with her."

Hearing my words , a pleasant smile appeared on the old man's face.

"Yeah , Princess Lecilia was the same when I met her. She was happy with what she had , she never demanded anything as the life she lived was satisfactory. But there's a flaw to her outlook on life , she always thinks that she have to pay for everything."

The old man took a sip of the soup in the bowl and continued ,

"It was when I met her first time on the training ground."

She was looking at her brother training with a smile on her face , it was early morning so not a lot of soldiers were training at that time. Lord Garius's schedule was quite ridiculous for his age , he had to wake up at 3:00 and start training from 3:30 to 7:30. To get enough sleep so that he could keep up with his schedule he had to sleep around 20:00.

He was still a innocent 14 year old child , or atleast that's what he made the people surrounding him think. I trained him so I knew what kind of genius he was and how he didn't like to stand out. At that time princess was still a 10 year old kid , she was always smiling and playing around the palace.

The other Nobles only socialized with her cause of her beauty , for the point of view of everyone she was just a brainless princess who was lucky to be born as a Noble beauty. Other than born as a beauty she was also born in the Lord's family which meant that she had power , which is why she got numerous invitations at young age.

I noticed her presence and ran to greet her , as future Lord's personal trainer I'd to pay my respects to anyone related to his family. She sat on the stairs and watched her brother training hard with a sword in his hand , her eyes were on him until she noticed me. I bowed my head infront of her and greeted her.

"Good Morning Princess , I'm Prince Garius's trainer Calius Jered. Why don't I bring a chair for Princess? The stairs might get dirt on your dress."

"Oh it's alright Sir Calius , I was here just to see brother Garius train without disturbing anyone. You may go back and train my brother , he has to be strong if he wants to protect his family."

I'd good ears which is why I could hear what Princess said in low voice ,

"It's not like I've to be powerful in order to marry in a strong family. In the end its beauty that matters."

'This kid , she knows her worth. But at the same times she thinks she's worthless , quite a contradiction.'

For her age she was quite fit , I looked closely and found that her body wasn't just fit but was trained to fight. It looked she trained herself secretly. Of course all the princesses could hire their own trainers , but Princess Lecilia suppressed her aspiration in order to become a ideal princess.

At that time I didn't know all this and just saw that princess was training to get strong. Which is why I didn't think much and mindlessly blurted ,

"Princess , if you don't mind why don't try to be a Mage?"

One thing which I knew about Serven family was that they produced some of the best Swordmages. But with princesses physique, it would've been hard for her to use sword. Which is why I asked if she wanted to train to be a Mage.

Another reason for to be a Mage was her hair colour ,out of all I've in the years I served the family her hairs were of lightest shade. The hair colour of a Noble family showed how much the attribute dominated the body , her hair colour being orange-ish meant that she probably was a double attribute user. After travelling all the 3 Kingdoms and fighting against many powerful Mages , Swordsman , Beastman , etc. I could tell that from my experience.

To make full use of your attributes you'd to go through a attribute awakening, for the awakening you'd to make your mana core stronger and unlock all your mana channel. If she didn't went through her training that would've been a waste of talent , as double attribute user were hard to find.

I saw a spark in her eyes right after hearing my words , she looked excited to train. But that didn't last the spark went off and she put her mask on again.

"I don't know about that Sir Calius , a young princess like shouldn't do such barbaric things right? or else I wouldn't find a good husband who'd accept me."

That when I got know what she thought of herself. She didn't aim to be the strongest or the smartest , all she wanted to be was a token that would benificiat her family.

'For a 10 year old to think things like these, it's to early for her to think about such things.'

"Princess , you possess two attributes. Possession of such power could be helpful to your future husband , if you don't start training the attribute wouldn't be of any help. Also I've heard that heirs of strong family like their bride to be strong and educated."

Maybe it was just my foolishness but at that time I just wanted to see princess training and get stronger. I didn't know why I wanted so , maybe it was cause a talent would've been wasted or just cause I wanted her to know her true worth. But I hoped for her to be stronger and have a new goal in her life.

She accepted my offer and started training from that day on , even though she trained less cause of her study classes she was still progressing. In the free time instead of socializing with other ladies she would ask me to teach her new techniques , and that's how she's one of the most powerful mages in all the 3 Kingdoms.

I trained her for 5 years but I'd to discontinue training her as she was nearing the age of 18. At the age of 15 she had to socialize more in order to make connections with different families , as a princess that's what her job was. Even though I stopped training her , she would sneak in the training grounds and trained herself.

In the end I couldn't change her outlook on life and all I did was to make her resolve stronger. She still thought of sacrificing herself in order to repay her family , it really is a shame I couldn't get through her and tell her that.

"Princess you can live your life however you want , even the thought of you paying for your family's kindness makes my heart pain."

But as a loyal servant I wasn't in a place to tell princess all this. She doesn't care about herself and tries to do everything for her family, sometimes Lord Garius blames himself for not being strong enough. The fact that his sister thinks that way made him ashamed of himself.

I didn't know all this and I just kissed , I assumed that she would be happy cause I kissed her. But how I could I know what she's thinking?

'Ah it's just like Yuki said , nobody would like a puny loser like me. But it doesn't matter to me , this hope I'll never let go of it. I'll do everything I can in order to be worthy and strong enough to be with her. Wait wasn't that my goal from the start anyways?'

Thinking that I laughed at myself and said ,

"This just makes my resolve stronger.

I looked at the old man's surprised face , he had two bowl of soups in his hands. He was giving me one of the bowls , but I'd to refuse as I was determined to keep my identity hidden.

"By the old man Calius what if I told you that I kissed Princess Lecilia without her consent."

Suddenly I was blasted away by an attack- no it was just a burst aura covering him. He had a Orange aura surrounding him , the weapons I was using started flying around him. A circle of missiles which were emitting orange aura formed behind his back.

It was truly a sight to be terrified about , he looked no less than a monster to me. When I transformed into the Half-Demon form I barely had aura around my body , but this monster he was emitting aura like crazy man. His aura was so strong that he wasn't just covering his body with it , he also had aura covering about 1m of his surroundings.

"Oi brat , WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?"

His voice was no longer pleasant , and neither was he.
