The damage my thruster dealt when I was in the Half-Demon form was almost unbelievable , with the skill buff of bloodline all my magic and attack skills were buffed. I didn't remember by how much percent they increased but that transformation was something I kept for desparate times.

One of the things I learnt during this whole training sub quest was utilisation of skills , the feeling of accomplishment I got when I created 'Crimson Fireball' and 'Inhuman Instincts' was unexplainable. If you were efficient using your skills and stacking their buff up you could do unimaginable damage.

The reason I was able to deal damage to 2 Mid's at the same time was also cause of the same reason , I chose an angle from where the 2 Garfon's were lined up. I climbed on the tree nearby and was able to shoot the both of them at the same time.

I remembered the time when I yearned for skills. The skills I couldn't gain cause of my laziness were now achievable in this game , although in the real world I didn't hope to obtain skills that killed monsters. I couldn't help but feel happy that I can do something like this with use of these skills.

'I don't care about the item and special class , just with these skills I will be the strongest. I will get all of them and make them mine.'

Devian's voice brought me back to the reality , I looked around my surrounding and saw that the Mid-Garfon's were looking around to see where the attack came from. Even though they did have any eyes , they could turn their head in the direction they sense someone.

This was something I observed after fighting hundreds of them , this went same for all the types of Garfon. Without wasting time I started running and tried to change my location. While I was running I saw a Mid-Garfon's head turning and watching me , they already knew about my presence.

I couldn't guess what they were thinking as they didn't have a face to guess from. For some reason I felt like the that Mid was looking down on me , like I was just a worm for him that he could easily crush. I didn't let his senses follow me and went into hiding , the targeted Mid-Garfon lost half of it's HP just from my 2 skills.

'Unfortunately I couldn't kill it with those 2 skills , well that can fixed anyways.'

I then jumped out from my hiding spot and started luring the rage filled Mid-Garfons , a chill went down my spine when all the Mid's looked at me. In their eyes I was nothing but a prey.

'I wonder how the Garfon's eat , they dont have a mouth and just smooth plain surface on their faces.'

'I thought so , let's just move over that topic please I don't want to hear something weird.'

Devian's plan sounded good at first but he didn't consider factors like I only had one of my daggers which meant that I could deal only half of the damage that Devian wants. Also the group of Mid's weren't brainless especially the one who looked at me was someone I'd to lookout for.

'I don't know about that Devian these Mid's may not have Intelligence stat but that doesn't mean they're brainless. See what I did their?'

I laughed at my own joke while Devian was speechless seeing how relaxed I was and how bad my joke was.

'Sorry , I'll do better next time.'

I couldn't go near them right now , all I could do was lure them out. After running for about 5 minutes I lured them far away from the base , I tried to hide but the Mid's were fast enough to catch up to me. Not only did they catch up they were able to surround me.

'So they can use strategies like this too huh.'

Fortunately I was able to escape from them with the help of my buffed stats by 'Dark Fuse' , but they still were able to get few hits on me. They used their chained hands and legs to throw kicks and punches at which left me with 75% of my HP.

I used to 'Divine Heal' to get most the my wounds healed , with my Intelligence reaching 250 I was able to get a C-Rank Magic Skillbook which boosted my skills by 30%. After leaving the group Mid's there I returned to the base , the injured one didn't follow me hence was the only one remaining on the base.

But except him one other Mid was present on the base it was the same Mid who I was alert against , for some reason it just stood their watching it's comrade bleeding. The injured Garfon had burns on it's body , it's HP was now down to 40% because of 'Burn' status.

I found my dagger stuck on the ground and picked it up to put it in the scabbard. I only had couple of minutes if the Mid's were able to find their way back to the base.

I kept my attention on the other Mid and without wasting any further time attacked the injured one. After getting it injured by my attacks , the monster's movements became pretty slow , my 'Thruster' pierced through its right lung. The hole made by my skill was still regenerating , I could see it's cells and the trachea regenerating from nothing.

Rather than feeling weird I was interested in seeing it regenerate , but that wasn't why I returned back here. With that in my mind I started attacking it , it was just a one sided slaughter with my basic attacks.

The Exp I got wasn't a lot for my current level , it filled about 8% of my Exp guage. While I attacking him the other Garfon didn't do anything and just watched his kind getting slaughtered. I saw him as a threat and didn't attack him , after killing 1 Mid her I went towards the direction in which lured the Mid's.

Of course I didn't go through the same route as I went the last time , I wasn't at a level where I could take on all of them at the same time. So I planned to take the jungle path which was still unknown to them , one more reason to fake this path was that their was a chance that I could encounter a lost Mid-Garfon.

After taking the longer way , I was finally able to catch up to the group. I counted them and nobody was missing among them , they were still intact. I noticed one of the Mid-Garfon lagging behind the group so I decided to target him as he was alone.

I needed to use silent attack which is why I chose to use my basic attacks , 'Thruster' would've been good enough but it was still on cooldown hence I thought of laying a trap. The distance between the group and the lone Mid was around 20-30m , so if he would've let out any kind of sound the group would've been alerted.

I decided to attack it's throat to destroy it's vocal cord , I couldn't completely believe that this would work but at this moment that was the only option I had. If it didn't work I just had to face against a group of Mid-Garfons with most of my skills on cooldown.

I ran towards the Mid with both the daggers in my hand , after getting it into my jumping range I jumped on it's body. With my legs wrapped around it's thick red neck and stood on it's shoulder , I stabbed both of my daggers into what I assumed to be larynx.

The daggers I stabbed were penetrated so in that I had some of my finger in it's neck. I spinned the daggers around to completely destroy it's throat and finally took my bloody daggers out. The green blood came gushing out.

'Kreeeech'

Just when the tip of my dagger was taken out of it's flesh the Mid-Garfon let out a loud scream , loud enough to get attention of all the Mid's ahead of me. I jumped down on the land and started attacking it recklessly , I was able to make a few cuts on the Mid's body until I felt a kick in my abdomen.

It was one of the Mid-Garfon of the group , I was able only to take 30% of my target's health. My current HP was not enough to take care of whole group , in moments like these the only option for me was.
