Second Dungeon Boss

After the discussion about the Queen's Core. The party followed their main goal still while they will try to collect Queen's Core as a side line before they will be led down to floor 100.

After they had made their decisions, the Ant Queen's limbs were cooked and feast on the sumptuous meal.

Bogart can't help but praise on how intoxicating the smell was after peeling off the shells. Upon biting on the steamed meat, Creamy Lobster lived up to its name, the meat really tasted like lobsters that gives off a cool and buttery feeling inside your mouth while the remaining water which became a juice was creamy as he slurped into it.

All the fatigue that the two felt subsided after eating a heavy yet light food. After half an hour from cleansing their palette, the party now once moved and descended to the unlocked stairs going to another floor.

Notification popped up on the party's vision after a minute of descending on the stairs.

The scenery in this floor was like the one where the party have been previously. The only difference is that the rocky walls and ceiling were full of silver white webs.

"It seems that we're in a spider's lair." With that, Lu Ciel was able to identify right away.

"Alright." Ed Win readied himself. "As usual, you boys will watch and learn as we clear these monsters til we find the Dungeon Boss Room.

"I won't let you down, seniors." Bogart nodded intently.

Aa the party explored the dungeon floor, indeed, the monsters resided here were different kinds of spiders that were around level seven to eleven.

The party took six hours to eventually found the dungeon boss room. After finding the room, the party camped outside first to eat, sleep and recover from their weary exploration.

As the party rest, Lu Ciel opened his Stats Window..

Lu Ciel can't help but smile wryly upon seeing the Wisdom Stats. Comparing it to the other Stats, it was ten times the gap and if totaled, the comparison was more than a half difference. The higher his level becomes, the more of the nature of his class was showing -- this was where his concern lies upon. His goal to be a Support Class was now getting farther to be achieved.

Another reason why he was starting to doubt about becoming a Support Class because of the Blind Skill. So far, this skill was not useful since the monsters that they've faced so far do not use much of their eye sight. The ants rely more on their antlers which served as their antennae while the spiders relies more on their webs to sense the enemies or their prey.

With these factors in mind, he can't help but sigh as he added the remaining points, one to the Vitality while the rest were all to Luck, then went to sleep.

Seven hours of full recovery, the party was now ready to face off the second dungeon boss. Bogart, especially, felt that he could take on his Tank role without putting his life in danger.

"Seniors." Bogart called out to the Ed Brothers who were now facing the dungeon boss room.

"Hmm?" Ed Win turned towards the half-dwarf to see what this kid up to. "What is it, boy?"

"If it's workable.." Bogart with his baby face was showing full of determination as held tight on his hammer and shield very tight. "Can you teach me on taking up the Tank role in this fight?"

Hearing this, Lu Ciel can't help but chuckle at how fired up his butler was.

"Brothers." With that, Lu Ciel called out to the Ed brothers as well and nodded to let them know to accept the request of his butler.

Seeing this, Ed Ward can't help but shook his head in amusement as he replied, "You two must have eaten tiger's gall."

"Don't blame us if get hurt, boy." Ed Win ruffled Bogart's hair as he laughed out loud in praise.

With that settled, Lu Ciel chose the Epic Mode for the Dungeon Boss once more.

Inside the dungeon boss room, the place was like an egg shaped dome. Stalactites covered the dome, making it look like a bat cave. However, on the tip of the stalactites, you could see soft glowing eggs thinly wrapped with webs hanging like fruits.

It was a wander to see at first if not for the huge spider laying down on the ground underneath these glowing eggs. The body spider was actually a half-size smaller than the Ant Queen, however, its sharp limbs were twice longer.

As its eight eyes glowed red, its limbs moved, standing itself up. This crept out Bogart as it was twice the height of Ed Win.

After standing up and glared towards the intruder, this Taratect Queen stood up like a humanoid with its hind limbs as it screech, trying to intimidate the enemies in front of it.

Lu Ciel and Bogart would indeed be intimidated, however, since they have the Ed brothers with them, they felt thrilled instead. Though intimidation did not take any effect to the two, the screech main effect was to debuff -- providing negative four to all Stats to Lu Ciel and Bogart.

After screeching, thirty hanging eggs fell down which broke and hatched thirty level five Taratects.

"Wow." Seeing this, Bogart felt that he'll have arachnophobia after fighting these monsters. "That's a lot."

"You two handle those small fries." Ed Win only smirked as he gave order. "Brothers, let me handle this boss. You two just need to sit back and relax."

"Alright." Ed Ward nodded in agreement while Ed Red looked for a place in the corners to watch the show.

"Let's go, boys!" With that, Ed Win dashed towards the Taratect Queen right away as the level five Taratects swarmed over.

Ed Win avoided the Taratect monsters with his amazing maneuverability that he've developed from the countless experiences of hunting monsters, and before these monster could catch up to him, a metallic ring sounded all over which was stinging to the hearing ability of the monsters causing their aggro to be directed to the ringing noise.

After taking the aggro, Lu Ciel used the skill berserk to Bogart which only offset the debuff of the Taratect earlier. As Bogart waited for the Taratect monster to come within his area of effect, he stanced himself to use the Hammer Wave to stun the spiders and use Hammerricane as a follow up.

As this happened where the Taratects were being bashed by cyclone of hammers, Lu Ciel would follow up to those monsters that were not obliterated right away.

"Let's go." Lu Ciel commanded to help out Ed Win after clearing the thirty level five Taratects.

"Okay." Bogart was getting more fired up as he ran towards the Taratect Queen. However, before they could reach the monster, another twenty five eggs started to fall down.

Noticing this, Ed Win lured the Taratect Queen to the distance. "I got this, boys! Like I said, take care of the small fries."

Twenty-five Taratects spawned, but this time, the monsters were level seven.

"Young master." Bogart looked at Lu Ciel worried as the monsters were coming.

"It's alright." Lu Ciel simply smiled. "Killing two or three of these monsters will level us up. Let's focus on one monster at a time."

"As you wish, young master." Hearing the confidence in Lu Ciel's voice, Bogart's worry disappear right away.

"Good." Lu Ciel chuckled as he simply pointed on the Taratect that was the farthest from its kind. "Let's start with that one."

"Okay." Bogart nodded vigorously.

"Let's go." Lu Ciel commanded as he dashed to the nearest Taratect, luring it away from Bogart's way towards the monster that they are planning of taking care of first. "Use your Shield Bash on that monster, knocking it towards wherever I will be"
