Acceptance

A few days later, Henrietta will be crowned Queen of Tristain. She then asks for Louise and her familiar to come to the palace because she needs to make a request.

Louise and Raizen were now facing Queen Henrietta in her throne room.

QHen: "I called you here to request something from you"

Before Louise could talk, Raizen spoke first.

R: "You want to use our power to defeat the Reconquista but you are worried that when you go and fight, your country might be in jeopardy because you don't know who sneak in and killed Cromwell to a secured dungeon with enchanted lock."

Louise and the queen were shocked that he know what happened.

QHen: "How did y-..."

R: "Your guards were not train to keep their mouth shut and we are still in a war instigated by a third party when they kill their associates for a mistake. Beside, Louise who would jump to your cause no questions ask so you can count on me too."

Louise: "We will help in anyway we can."

R: "Speaking of help..."

Raizen put out a robot that he made in the RWBY world and improve when he was in doulou dalu with better metal that can use the energy around so that it can work indefinitely.

QHen/Louise: "A golem?"

R: "Not just a "golem", but the best golem out there and can solve your kingdom's problem about where to get war funds. From your country's corrupt officials."

Qhen: "How?"

R: "These golem's sole purpose is to gather evidence and they can do this."

The robot became invisible and the two girls were amazed that they can't see the golem. Not even a shadow is being cast by it when the room is being hit by the morning sun. Raizen made the robot walk but no footsteps were heard. When the invisibility is turned off, the golem is now at the side of Henrietta which made her surprised.

R: "I have thousands of these and if you want, I will add in this... *pulls out a chair* This is a chair that when someone sits on it, the poison will be placed on that person and will tell the truth for three hours. You can use this in tandem with the evidence that the golems will gather. When you start their trials, tell me."

QHen: *looking at Raizen* "It is not for free is it? I think that even the gold from the treasury will not be enough."

R: "Oh you can have 10 golems for free but not the whole thousand and not the chair. But if you want them then..."

Raizen walks to the sitting Henrietta.

Louise: "Raizen! What are you doing."

R: "Sacrifices need to be made" *already at the front of the queen*

QHen: "You want my hand in marriage? My body?"

R: "Child, if your, not the queen and a friend of Louise, I would slap you so hard you will fly out off this castle."

Henrietta flinch and got embarrassed at the same time then she said her apology.

R: "What I want from you is to pass my test. If you succeed a thousand golems will be yours and the chair of truth. Not only that the golems can gather evidence, but they can also fight, fly and neglect magic attacks of any kind."

QHen: "What test?"

Raizen puts his finger between the queen's eyes and she falls in a sleep-like state. He then went back to the spot of Louise who is getting concerned for her friend.

Louise: "What did you do?"

R: "I give her the last will of her beloved before he died. It serves as a test and a final message for her. If she did not wake up earlier than six hours then she will fail and only get the ten golems."

Louise did not ask who Henrietta's beloved is because she already had the idea when her friend made a personal request.

The test Henrietta took four hours before she "wake up".

QHen: "Thank you for giving me a chance to be with him and to move on"

R: "You already knew that he is just an illusion that I made but you didn't let go yet to spend time with him. *walks up to her with Louise and pats her head while she is crying* If you're not really ready to move on yet then don't. He will be truly be gone when you forgot about him. As long as he is in your heart and memory, then he will continue to live."

Henrietta then cries to the embrace of Louise. Raizen then takes down the barrier that prevents others from going to the throne room after the queen fixes herself. Before the queen forget, she handed Heresiarch's Book of Invocation. On the way to the academy, Raizen memorizes the content of the book with the help of the mind stone to manifest the spells written on it. He then shared his knowledge with Louise using mind transfer but the spell will gradually be used by her after she finished her training.

Three days later at the academy, the boys in every year were being conscripted for war. They are saying their farewell to their loved ones because they might not be coming back.

While all of this was happening. Louise and Tabitha were at a table eating cake made by Raizen. Kirche on the other hand is being pestered by other boys because they were included in the draft.

Raizen was not included because technically he is the familiar of Louise.

From afar, the students can see a white dragon coming to their academy with someone riding on it. When the dragon landed, the rider disembark from it while fixing his hair. This made most of the girls captivated by how handsome he is. With his shiny hair, his heterochromia eyes, and the smile so white the sun reflects at it.

Now the girls want their boys to leave earlier even Montmorency who just started to cry changes to a love-struck girl in seconds.

The person then came to the table of Louise and Tabitha but he got closer to Louise and introduced himself as Julio Chesaré. He said he is a transfer student coming from Romalia.

In the class were Mr. Colbert is explaining about material that can and can't be burned. Julio was more the center of attention than the professor. The only two people who were listening intently to the lesson is Tabitha and Louise. Louise keeps her focus because she is already showing good results and can be considered a Dot(one element) in magic usage without exploding. Besides, she has already seen a more handsome person than Julio and he is her familiar.

A few moments later, a group of musketeers barge into the class and tell the remaining students to get outside in the field for military drills but Mr. Colbert argues that it's bad enough that the boys have gone to war. He doesn't want the war to come to the academy. This made one of the musketeer officers draw her sword, point it to Mr. Colbert, and tell him that she hates mages.

R: "By argument, you also hate the queen because she is also a mage. Is that what you are saying?"

??: "Who said that!? Show yourself this instance!"

Mr. Colbert, Julio, the musketeers, and the students were looking for the person who is talking but no is doing so.

R: "You don't know me but maybe you do. I also know that your Agnès de Milan, an appointed chevalier by now Queen Henrietta. How dare you say that you hated mages because if you said it encompassing a whole then the queen, who appointed you your position and rank, is included in your hate for mages. Don't bother arguing, I know of your story. A mage burned down your village and you're the only survivor."

The people in the room gasp including the other musketeers.

R: "If you do not behave yourself then you will turn in for treason just because of what you said." *replaying what Agnes said about hating mages* Teach the students properly. If else..."

A heavy pressure come down to the room that made the musketeers come crashing to the ground while the others have difficulty standing.

R: "For the students, if you don't learn then you will die fast. Mr. Colbert, understand the situation, and being a pacifist will not help the students."

After that, the pressure disappears and everybody was confused and have questions about what happened. When the musketeers regain their bearings, they lead the students outside on the field.

Mr. Colbert was sad to see children be dragged by war. Louise was keeping quiet this whole time even though she knew who put the pressure on them.

The guy responsible was busy cooking the food for the remaining students.

In the open field, after the musketeers explained what the students need to do, they were separated in pairs for a spar to see what they can do. Louise kept defeating her opponent easily with few jabs to make them fall. The musketeers approve of it and one of them replaces the student to fight against Louise.

Julio, who was being surrounded by other girls, walks up to Louise and ask for a spar. Louise accepted and they both started the fight. Their spar lasted for 3 minutes because of Louise's lack of experience and stamina which made the other girls look at Louise in a different light. Not only did she not cause explosions anymore, she can also fight without her wand.

This also impresses Julio because even though he was not giving his all in the fight, Louise lasted longer than he thought.

Raizen, who was also in the same field as the sparring students, is proud of Louise for her achievement. While he was being proud of the girl, he was attacked by a musketeer with a wooden sword. He caught the tip of the sword while not looking at the person.

R: "What do you think you are doing?"

M1(right-hand of Agnes): "If an enemy comes, will you not be also fighting?" *trying to take away the wooden sword but failed*

R: "My main job as a familiar is to keep my master safe so I'm always on battle mode. That is why I caught your weak blow."

M1: "Weak!?"

The person then unsheath her real sword and swung towards Raizen but he just blocked it with the grass leaf.

R: "You see, you can't even cut a leaf"

M1: *while still in downward slash position* "How's that possible"

R: "If you made your point then teach the students to keep them alive. I don't want to embarrass you more than you made yourself. If you are angry from your failure then you lack experience."

The musketeer officer stand in her spot for a few seconds then said sorry. She went away and told her superiors of what had happened and the others just look in the direction of Raizen with amazement.

Julio was able to see the whole fight of Raizen or more like an elder lecturing his student and got curious then walked towards him.

Before Julio could speak, he was beaten to it by Raizen.

R: "I know why you are trying to get close to Louise because both her and your master are void mages. I don't care what you do in the academy but if you do something that will harm her then the dragon you came with will eat your body and deliver your head to your master. Do I make myself clear?"

Julio is having a hard time standing up because the pressure keeps increasing from the start of his talking. He was able to give a nod then the pressure was gone. Now he know made the pressure in the classroom earlier.

The queen did not come to the academy because of the help of the golems that were given to her. Multiple evidence from corrupt officials came up and needs to be cataloged. Raizen has given her five thousand golems. She used two thousand for gathering information and the rest to push back the forces of Reconquista.

A few days come by and the big sister of Louise, Eleonore de la Valliere, came to make her come home. Siesta was dragged by Louise's sister because she just saw her doing her chores. Poor Siesta.

In the Valliere mansion, the three daughters and their mother are eating dinner at a long table. Louise tried to talk to her mother but Eleonore speak first with haste.

Ele: "Mother, please tell Louise that she should just stay at home. I bet she is an outcast at school too."

Louise: *stands up* "No I am not what I used to be. I have been improving my magic and I can do spells now without exploding. I can even defend myself to some extent if I lost my wand."

The conversation then turns to make Louise marry someone and Louise poking the love life of her sister. The would-be-fought was stopped by their mother and the marriage will talk about when their father comes home.

Louise is now talking with her other big sister Cattleya. Her big sister is teasing her about love and asked her if the boy she brought is the one she loves.

Louise: "He is more of a big brother to me, even though I love him, I can't see him as more than a brother."

Cattleya: "That is... Can you let me speak to him tomorrow?"

Louise: "Sure, I also want to introduce him to you. He might have a solution for your sickly body."

Cattleya: "He's a noble?"

Louise: "No. He just can do amazing things like teaching me how to control my magic to not explode or teach me self-defense.

Cattleya: "Now I'm excited to see him"

The next day, Raizen was alone with Cattleya in her room. She is sitting on her bet while Raizen is standing.

Cattleya: "Do you always have to wear a mask? How do you even eat with it?"

R: "Yes, a necessity, and either I take it off or I do this..." *retracting the bottom half of the mask and putting it down again*

Cattleya: "Can you not take it off? I want to see the face of the person who helped Louise with her problems at school."

R: "Are you sure you want to see? I might be disfigured beneath the mask"

Cattleya: "It matters not to me, I want to thank you properly."

R: "Very well then..."

Raizen takes off his mask starting from his left side down to the right. He did this casually but Cattleya has been stun for a second then she manage to regain her posture and continue speaking.

Cattleya: "Now I know why you need the mask. You are very..... charming. *smiling* ....right... I.... want to.... thank you of taking care.... of Louise... while... she is at the academy"

R: "Are you alright? You're having a hard time speaking... *puts back his mask on* ... Louise did say that you have a weak body. She asks me to help you with it"

Cattleya: *disappointed that he put back his mask on* "My body is indeed weak but that is not why it was hard for me to talk."

R: "Ok... (even though he knows, he will not point it out to not embarrass the girl) as for your illness. Sorry about this"

Raizen put his hand on top of Cattleya's head. A minute later, he took away his hand and ask Cattleya to stand.

Cattleya stands up with no more difficult and she feels like she could run for long hours and will not feel tired.

Cattleya: "What is that you do to me?"

R: "You just have an immune deficiency where the things that are supposed to be keeping you healthy are not doing their jobs right. If not for the magic in your body, you probably just be always in bed. I fix the issue and strengthen your body a little bit so you can do what you always wanted to do."

Cattleya: "Do what I want to do. Can you take off your mask again? I want to thank you again properly."

R: "hmm... ok..."*takes off his mask*

Before Raizen can speak further, Cattleya jumps at him and lock lips with him. She also put her hands around his neck so that he can't escape. Raizen then peels her off of him using a little force.

R: "Why did you kiss me, saying thanks would suffice." *putting his mask on*

Cattleya: "Did you not like it?"

R: "I liked it very much but you are the sister of Louise and I saw her as my sister. It's just that..."

Cattleya: *walks closer to him* "Is there something wrong?"

R: "Not only that we just met a couple of hours ago. I already have a wife and I feel bad that I'm doing this when she is far away from me."

Cattleya: "When can I meet your wife?"

Raizen stared at her but Cattleya only saw that he stopped moving.

R: "I'll think about it."

Raizen then puts his hands again in her head. A few seconds later, he then steps back as if nothing happened.

Cattleya: "What did you do?"

R: "Try remembering my face"

Cattleya tried to remember but she won't have the "memory" of his face. It was blank whenever she tried.

Cattleya: "Why would you do that? Why take away that memory?"

R: "Because if you're going to fall in love with me just because of a pretty face then I can't have that. It is the reason for the mask. That is also why Louise only sees me as her big brother even though we were always together. My wife has been with me when I was just a boy and we have known each other for three years. I didn't have this face before so I know that she didn't just love me because of it. It also made me surprised that you were the only one who made that kind of reaction after seeing my face. Not even Louise tried to trick me just to kiss me so I know she did not fall for me."

Cattleya: "I'm sorry. It's just that you cured my illness that has been plaguing me for years after showing your face. So I couldn't control my emotions back then and kissed you. That was my first kissed by the way."

R: "hmm... I may be harshed with my actions by I stand by my reasons. If you are really serious with your feeling then we can get to know each other first but you will only know what I portray on the surface. Somethings are meant for my lovers so I'm telling you now and hope you understand."

Cattleya: "Then later, when father comes. I will tell them that I choose you as a potential suitor."

R: "Before I forgot, better tell you this now than later."

Cattleya: "What is it"

R: "How old do you think I am?"

Cattleya: "Hmm... Similar to mine? 24?"

R: "Last time I check, I'm 27...

Cattleya: "Oh, that is not far-..."

R: "...million years old"

Cattleya: "What!? How is that possible?"

R: "I have a training place where inside it is 100 thousand years while one day outside. So, yeah... If you continue pursuing love with me. Know that you will be with a very old guy."

Cattleya: "But you look so young."

R: "Whenever I use the training space, my time stops so I don't age there and because of how strong I am. I stop aging entirely and stuck with what I am now."

Cattleya was stunned with the information that the one she fell in love with is a very old person. She was expecting at most twenty years gap but not in millions.

Cattleya: "Can you let me think about it."

R: "Sure."

Raizen then left Cattleya to think about for herself. He then goes to Louise where she was hiding from her parents because her father said some hurtful words against Queen Henrietta and said to her that she just leave the academy and be married.

Raizen then picks up Louise to confront her father. The two of them met her father and mother that were looking for Louise.

Duke: "So you found my daughter."

R: "Yes, I must say... Do you really think that military rights are pathetic and the war efforts of the queen is pointless? Because it sounds to me like an enemy weakening the kingdom by not raising an army to defend itself. I don't know what will others think, what would people think when someone of your status said that. *he then shows them the time when Louise's father tells her about what he thinks about the war and the queen*

You are confident that even if Tristain falls, your family will be preserved just because you are "noble". The is nothing "noble" if the common people suffer from your line of thought.

Before the war ends, the structure of the government of Tristain will change and people with bad intentions against the country will be put on trial and strip of their nobility and magic. Pray that only you *referring to the father of Louise* will face judgment."

Raizen did not let them speak for a second and keep Louise's father and mother in their place including the guards even after walking right past them.
