I GOT PUNCHED, BUT I EARNED A FRIEND

Melody was highly emotional tonight. It's been a long time since she had spoken to anyone about her friends, whom Melody had lost quicker than she had made friends with them. However, Melody had calmed down as soon as Lyrical started getting worried about her. Melody was used to burying her feelings and putting a smile on her face. Never was she a big fan of revealing them in front of others.

Lyrical had suggested they both must go back to the elderly home to see aunt Jun, mother of Melody's friends, as she had been looking for her for a long time. After which, they had decided to call it a day. They hugged each other to sleep, however, though neither of them was sleepy anymore. Deafening silence lay heavily on them. Lyrical felt guilty for causing distress to Melody, just because she was curious to find out about Melody's past, the life before they had met. Even though Melody was not very keen on reminiscing it.
