WHERE'D YOU GO

Melody was never good at showing her feelings. She admired her brother, cherished every moment she had spent with him, and always believed that Colin never loved her back. He only came to Melody because he had no friends and in the end, he gave up meeting her once their parents threw her out of the house. Eventually, they both had drifted apart, and Melody kept believing that they may never see each other again.

So, when she saw his gravestone, it took her a hundredth time of reading out his name that was engraved on it. Only then Melody could grasp that Colin was no more around. Furthermore, her best friend Edwina had always been in touch with him all these years but never told Melody anything about it. When Edwina told her that Colin stayed away so he could help her because he loved his sister, which is why he was worried Melody might get into trouble because of him, and it left Melody completely broken and devastated.
