AFRAID OF MELODY'S WRATH

Lyrical did not know if she should be relieved that she did not wake up on the hospital bed or worried that she was presently sprawled upon the burgundy sofa inside Melody's cabin.

"H-how did I- I, uhm, end up here?" Lyrical gulped nervously.

Melody folded her hands across her chest, "I had sent my Lamborgini to pick you up. I sincerely hope you had a smooth ride and my driver did not cause you any trouble." she deadpanned.

Lyrical huffed, "Thank you for your hospitality." she sarcastically replied. "Now will you answer my question or do you want me to leave?"

Without giving a second thought, Melody answered, "I want you to go home and take a rest. I'll see you tomorrow." she flatly threw an order.

Lyrical sat up and smoothed her dress. "Will you not drop me home?" she looked at Melody with pleading eyes.
