Nangong Yao

When Wang Jingyuan regained consciousness, she noticed that the soft bedding beneath her and the warm blanket around her did not match the cold stone floor and the wet chills of the cave. Am I back in the He Manor?

She opened her eyes groggily. Blurry teal curtains and dark brown wood swam into view. The blanket she laid under was silk and bore beautiful golden embroideries of dragons. This is not mine. This is not my room.

She sat up and looked down at the silk pajamas on her body. These were also not hers. Alarm bells blared in her mind. Where am I? How did I get here? Where is Mo Xian?

Wang Jingyuan looked around the room. It was very spacious and even larger than the room she had at the He Manor. The bedroom was connected to a different room, which she presumed was a living room. She could not see into the room from where she sat on the bed.
