Victoria's parents didn't care of whatever her sister took from her. A night in the bar and a few drinks led Victoria to an impulsive decision, by marrying the man she's attracted to. And doesn't care if he was broke or a beggar. 
From broke or beggar, Kenzo and Maverick turned out to be more than a middle class or a noble.

Pleasing the mother-in-law was a hard thing to do. Her mother-in-law was picky, she's all about elegance, and intelligence, and more importantly, she liked someone else. She's already a bad shot to the Baroness. She's sure that the Baroness already changed her will because of what her husband did and her stupid daughter. They thought that they could please her after Katarina got married.

It was still a scandal though that they involved the Duchess of Westeria.

"So, how's Katarina?" The Baroness asked without paying much attention.

"She's doing fine. She wished to visit but she's busy taking care of her husband's needs."

"That's great. How about business? Charities?" Regina looked over at Dana from her eyeglasses.

"Hmm," She faced Yazmin, her secretary, and showed her what she needed. "I need this ASAP. My granddaughter is coming home."
