Kenzo and Maverick were known broke as they've been working multiple jobs just to pay for the bills. Everything turns around when Victoria Parson, granddaughter of the Baroness of Berkon met Kenzo in the bar. 
After witnessing the adulterous act between Victoria's fiancé and her sister, Stacey, her best friend make sure that they had a proof. Victoria's parents didn't care of whatever her sister took from her. A night in the bar and a few drinks led Victoria to an impulsive decision, by marrying the man she's attracted to. And doesn't care if he was broke or a beggar. 
From broke or beggar, Kenzo and Maverick turned out to be more than a middle class or a noble.

Just as Kenzo had thought, they are moving fast. They already settled out the plans to make the three escape. He's sure that Fiona won't go on with her main plan without Xian. He turned around to watch Caleb.

Caleb took out the new device that they ordered and showed it happily.

"This is the newest device that can do awesome stuff. Look at the remote control."

"I think we can do more awesome stuff," Maverick said.

Kenzo raised his wine to his lips as he looked outside.

"Tomorrow's the big day!" Caleb exclaimed. "So, man. What are you going to do after the wedding."

Maverick laughed as he took a pillow and threw it directly at Caleb.

"Are you dumb, man? Or something?"

"Caleb, of course, I will make my wife satisfied," Kenzo smirked.

"You shouldn't drink wine." Caleb took out a special whiskey. Kenzo shook his head.
