After witnessing the adulterous act between Victoria's fiancé and her sister, Stacey, her best friend make sure that they had a proof. Victoria's parents didn't care of whatever her sister took from her. A night in the bar and a few drinks led Victoria to an impulsive decision, by marrying the man she's attracted to. And doesn't care if he was broke or a beggar. 
From broke or beggar, Kenzo and Maverick turned out to be more than a middle class or a noble.

As Vivien looked at Iris, she noticed that her future daughter-in-law was a little miserable. Although she wanted to have the decors specifically. This fancy engagement was meant for Hardin and his fiancee. Her husband set up a budget for it and she and Iris were currently spending it. They have to make sure that they have the correct budget for everything. Iris complained that a lot of things were expensive, they would rather spend it on food, to which Vivien agreed.

"Is there anything else, darling?" She asked softly. Iris seemed to be having a little breakdown. "Let's take a break," Vivien said as she took away the brochure. "Do you want me to handle it?"

"If you handle it there's nothing left for me to do." She mumbled. "I will get bored and it's very frustrating."

Vivien could feel her frustration from her. So, she put everything away.

"Let's go to the Tea House. How about that? The new chef had new desserts and foods."
