There was a limit to the road, speeding down it there were few obstacles in his way. Errit floored it a few times and tried to see how fast it would go, when it started to shake he pulled back a bit. It was much fast than walking, he kept the blackout hat on for shade. The back of his neck had been burning for a while, he couldn't figure out the reason but he thought maybe there was a sunburn.

He had not run across a mirror, though he wished he had one for his rear view. Dust would sometimes fill his view, a few times he thought he was about to lose control, slight bumps in the landscape caused his vehicle to toss a bit from time to time. Overall, the ride was smooth.

There were a lot of plants in the area, everything seemed to be in bloom. The winter months had just passed and things were blooming all over the place. When Errit saw a trail up a mountain path, he took it. There were no signs and the path was no wider than a road, eventually it tapered down. he had to store the Cart and walk across certain portions.

"Can't do everything." Errit thought maybe he could use his chains to drive on, but changed his mind. Every time the Chains had come out, he had felt extreme hunger and couldn't be bothered to stop every half hour for food. The monocycle seemed rather practical in the moment but it passed and once again there was enough ledge to drive.

A Lake in the foothills of the mountain pass showed some promise for camp in the evening. Fish could occasionally be seen in the water, it was crystal clear.

"..." Food was important, although he had an abundance of items in his storage, he only knew what a handful of the herbs even were. Each time he had experimented with tastes and ingredients, he'd noticed effects. There were almost no things on Shiyan that didn't have some sort of use or ability, it was really fascinating for Errit. He studied the plants with his fingers, he knew all the physical details but the auras.. he couldn't read the auras.

Errit started a fire while parked near the riverside. The Chains were pretty useful when grabbing fish, he had only turn apart a few until he had gotten the hang of it. Roasting the fish with something that looked like a potato, Errit watched the forest around him for activity.

There were strange birds, not unlike the ones he had run away from far off into the distance, small fur covered animals jumped between branches. He thought squirrel, but there were too many things and too many different noises. Dipping his fingers into the soil he could feel the water table, it was fresh and clean.

He took out an empty storage ring and walked into the lake, sucking up water. It collapsed in itself as it disappeared into the ring, displaced, more water came to fill the spot. Errit looked for fish in the ring, it was emptied of contaminants like rock and gravel. On the ground where he flushed the ring, small metal fragments were sitting in the silt. Picking through them, Errit could tell what they were. Some of them were DarkIron, Elementium, Galaxium and Stardust.

There was a page in the Auction House materials book, a kilogram of Galaxium was up for auction for over a million CP. 'Its only a few granules' Errit stared at the muck and spread it out on a rock to pick through it. 'I bet there is more at the bottom of the lake.' Errit got excited, he was going to need the CP for a proper weapon one day if he didn't find one first. He pulled out another storage ring and started tearing up the lakebed, too took it all.

The Water soon became the contents a storage ring and a bed of flipping fish in the mud remained. Using the Chains, the took all the fish into his right hand and with his left he took in the mud around and below. Working his way to the center of the lake, he quickly gathered anything that was present into the lake ring. While clearing the lakebed, a plate of metal was sitting in the bottom of the lake, Errit placed his hand on it to find out the contents. There was a door, it was several hundred feet away. 'Wow, this thing is huge' There were not many things that had surprised him, but a metallic structure that was longer than a house was of great interest to Errit.

Locating the doorway, he cleared the muck from its exterior. It was flawless, like it had been preserved for decades, centuries maybe. But the designs said differently. Errit looked at the doorway, it was an entry portal with a seal. A lever on the outside with a lift lock activated when he fed some energy into it. A decompression of the doorway showed that it had its own atmosphere inside, the pressure difference gave off a steam effect.

Hot wind blew in his face before he walked through the portal. 'stuffy' Errit grabbed the railing, instinctively he looked down the corridor, there were conduits and electrical lines. Glowing rods lined the hallway, lighting it up as he drew closer. 'Glowstone rods' Errit pocketed a few of them that didn't seem critical.

The complex inside was large, large enough to fit a small platoon comfortably. It looked like it was a ship, but the pressurization said otherwise. Errit looked for a cockpit, a bridge or even a driver seat. There had to be something that made it move, it didn't look or feel like an installation but rather, a vehicle.

Pictures lined one wall in a distant room, some of the people were with beastkin, some of the pictures were even of beastkin in sexy poses. Barely any of the pictures on the walls were of humans, some of the images looked like they were taken in city he had woken up in.

Then he saw it, definitive proof.

On the wall of one of the larger rooms he had found, next to the charts of the territories, was the Banner of the Zao Clan. It stood boldly, clean and free of dust.

Errit looked around the rooms that connected it, some desks a few pieces of installed equipment that didn't operate and some chairs were all he could find. Searching the lower levels, he found an access panel where exposed wires could be seen. He connected them, and the lights came on. Getting himself zapped in the process, he felt very awake. Touring the vessel, he finally found what looked like the engine room. It was bare, there were some plates connected to the rear of the hull, it looked like they were geared to move together in unison like a propeller but there was no engine.

He kept searching. When he finally reached what looked like the top floor, he found another room. Inside it were dials and triggers. a few crystals were laying on the floor, all of them cracked and broken. 'this tells a story i'd rather not be involved in.' Picking the crystal up, he noticed it was similar to the one of the veins in the Moonpool Cavern.

He emptied his storage ring for crystals that matched. He found one that was a big bigger and darker but it gave off a strong aura that matched the broke pieces. After connecting it, the dials whirled to life. The few other crystals were quickly replaced, then a hologram appeared with a warning message, it seemed like it had been playing when the ship was disabled.

"brace for impact, brace for impact, brace for impact" It was like a broken record, Errit took out the crystal that he had just put into place. The Hologram disappeared. "Okay, well. I guess I should see what it is." Errit left and quickly stored the entire place away into a storage ring. "Thought so." He turned and then brought it back out, it rested on top of the mud.

"Warship?" There were turrets, anchor points and cannons, it looked new, the hull wasn't even damaged. "What are those? Hooks?" Errit stored it away then kept digging at the site where the ship had been laying. Another fifty feet down, he found it. Once again relying on the utility of the Storage rings, he stored the object away.

When he was free of the lake bed, he brought it out. A large rock the size of a small building materialized. It was one solid piece and almost entirely comprised of Galaxium the remaining impurities were all crystals. Errit put the asteroid away out of fear he would have been seen.

The waters of the lake had started to reform, pools of water were forming in the lower areas he had already cleared away. It was time to move. He didn't much like tramping through the mud, his boots were thick with it. Small plants and trees started to bloom in his wake, a small grove of tiny trees that had large leaves started to shadow his exit.

Swapping his hat for the mask and stared at the mud before the waters fully retook the lake bed, Errit was satisfied that he wasn't leaving anything important behind. He jumped into the Cart and sped away, looking to put distance between him and the massive hole under the lake. After putting the mask on, he noticed something in the distance.

A figure watched as he fled that area.

There was no time, he had to go. Focusing his power, he channeled it into the seat. His face rippled in the wind as he tore down the countryside, a trail of dust at his back.
