The sun had disappeared over the hills for almost half an hour ago now, it was almost past twilight and now the land was going dark.

At the dinner table, Regina sat across from Paul as they finished their dinner. Her hair was in a braid over one shoulder and her dress was strapless to show off her shoulders. A necklace hung around her throat, something Sam had picked out for her.

They were not saying anything while having their dinner, instead, they were making eye contact with one another. They were comfortable in their mutual silence expectation was not laid on either one of them.

"What kind of work did you have today, anyway?"

Seeing the way she was asking that question Paul guessed that Regina had already suspected that he was doing something in secret. If not then she would not have been specific on what kind of work he had to do today and also she would not have been waiting to ask the question so for long unless she was fearful of the answer.
