"I have not seen your mom since I got back from London, where is she?" I don't understand what is happening, how can she say this when I know that Rakas' boss was also looking for my mom.
Yes I know I am also looking for her but even if I was to have information as to my mom's whereabouts I can't tell her.
She Could be the enemy
Trust no one!
Now everything falls on the hands of Uncertainty.
Either ways, I need an answer!
Home isn't the place with the softest of bed but a place to lay your head.
My home desolate and forgotten. A place to which shadows hide, a place known for both the living and the dead yet I lie in between.
After she had treated my wounds she could not leave me alone anymore.
"You can't be allowed to stay alone since all you think about is evil" I was looking at her and could not find words to say.
"Do not force me to invoke your toy monkey Ash to be watching you for me, you do know I can do that"
No, she should not do that.
I don't want to loose the only companion I have to a spirit I know nothing about.
I have lost a lot already but don't want to loose Ash.
As you can as well know, my mom is now a witch who can live for so long only if she draws blood from her daughter to regenerate her lifespan.
It is crazy knowing that I accepted at first, but now trapped because she has sliced all the parts of my body.
Apparently the blade knows the spot no matter where on the body it is and all I have to do is be a good child and stay still.
I stayed on the edge of the bridge of reality and could barely understand what is real or not.
She brought out handcuffs from the first aid kit, I didn't even expect something like that there.
"Since you want it the hard way, let's do it hard" she handcuffed my hands from the back.
How can I be a prisoner in my own home?
Trapped by my own mother; who would understand this reality?
"Don't worry I would not let you starve, mama just wants to be assured you are safe" she walked out of the room.
Leaving me in my prison, no longer my room.
Crying out would mean nothing, who would hear me from here.
I just bent with my hands to the back handcuffed.
It all seemed funny to me; Just in one day I have been through hell and beyond.
I am imprisoned with the demons in my cage and no place of escape.
This is torture!
She sat right by my side, and I could not even look at her.
I just didn't know who to trust.
"Have you had anything to eat?" she finally broke the silence in the weirdest way.
"No ma, am not hungry" deep down I was starving. But what if she is planning to kill me and can't do it here because of the crowd.
"Are you sure, you look hungry" I don't look hungry, I am hungry.
"No ma I insist" why is she so stubborn.
The warriors in my stomach were at war.
I really miss my mother, a woman with a heart of Gold.
She could turn a simple loaf of bread into a delicacy, she was the spice to the meal. Though Dad always argues that he cooks better, but the truth of the matter is that dad was known for drowning the meal into gallons of pepper and thereafter blame the pepper company for making it extra.
Most of the time mom would be crying whenever he says he wants to cook because you can as well cancel dinner.
I smiled when I remember the night of Macaroni pasta, a night never to be forgotten; mum was like she was tired from work and didn't feel like cooking. I obliged to do the cooking but Dad refused apparently he was like his macaroni pasta was heavenly and one taste of it could take you beyond the stars.
Mom kept objecting, but I for one didn't realize that she was seeing the future.
"Honey, you are just scared I would beat you in the art of cooking" he gave a wink at me trying to get my support.
"No darling, I am not ready to be rushed to the hospital this evening" she spoke with so much sincerity.
"Haha, very funny but the truth is that is not possible" he said still giving me another wink.
