Defrox, the realm of darkness. Every morning is night and every midnight is when ‘they’ begin the hunt. Until one day, like the break of dawn, a woman brought light upon her arrival. 

A small faint light but was able to pierce the darkness for a moment. That’s when ‘they’ begin to question, “What is this delightful smell?”

It is the smell of a new light, the sacred blood.

Then the chaos began.

By the time Skyla was done with breakfast, Ezekiel and Elena entered the cave together.

'It looks like they have finished whatever discussion they wanted to do' Skyla mused as she turned her eyes away from him and continued wiping her mouth and hands.

Suddenly she heard Elena ask in astonishment, "We only left for ten minutes, right?"

Skyla furrowed her brows in confusion and looked at Elena, who was staring at the empty food and grill with raised eyebrows.

Skyla pursed her lips as her cheek flushed red and lowered her head in embarrassment.

"Now, you know to be embarrassed, huh?" Casper cackled, making her face burn red.

He looked at his friends and remarked, "You should have seen her devouring food so quickly and emptying the meat in seconds"
