Time

Ezekiel felt his body turn ice at the sight of Skyla falling down the cliff. Her agitated expression still haunted his mind as she looked over at him with ….fear? hope?

Before he could collect his thoughts, he found himself staring down the cliff anxiously. The strange eerie silence, the cold breeze and the snow only seem to intensify the ambience. He gnashed his teeth as he turned around and glared at Casper.

Casper flinched before he lowered his gaze guiltily. He clutched his wounded shoulder in anger as he thought, 'If only I hadn't let down my guard…'

Elena sighed, looking at Casper's guilty expression and Ezekiel's abrupt anger.

"Ezekiel… it is not his fault"

Ezekiel clenched his fists tight as he kept his stern gaze on Casper before looking away from him. He knew it..he understood it wasn't his fault but…

An image of Skyla falling down the cliff flashed in his mind…

'No.. I can't stay like this..'
