Defrox, the realm of darkness. Every morning is night and every midnight is when ‘they’ begin the hunt. Until one day, like the break of dawn, a woman brought light upon her arrival. 

A small faint light but was able to pierce the darkness for a moment. That’s when ‘they’ begin to question, “What is this delightful smell?”

It is the smell of a new light, the sacred blood.

Then the chaos began.

Into Your Blood And Bones

Skyla gaped at the sudden entrance that appeared out of nowhere, in shock. She blinked her eyes and proceeded to rub them but the hole still stayed.

"W-w-w-w-haat" she pointed her finger at the hole and stuttered.

Her fingers shook as she immediately searched in her memory whether she did something out of ordinary again. She rubbed her chin thoughtfully as she digged through her mind and found nothing substantial.

Her body flinched when the cold breeze blew into the cave through the new entrance. That's when she noticed a brilliant light glowing at the other end.

"What in the world is this?" she mumbled as she took a step forward towards the cave.

Suddenly her world spun and she was facing Ezekiel's shirt. Skyla furrowed her eyebrows as she glanced up with questions in her eyes. Her eyes widened when she noticed his appalled countenance.

She gripped her fingers, creasing his shirt and called out, "Ezekiel?"
