Defrox, the realm of darkness. Every morning is night and every midnight is when ‘they’ begin the hunt. Until one day, like the break of dawn, a woman brought light upon her arrival. 

A small faint light but was able to pierce the darkness for a moment. That’s when ‘they’ begin to question, “What is this delightful smell?”

It is the smell of a new light, the sacred blood.

Then the chaos began.

Into Your Blood And Bones

Skyla groaned as she dragged her tired body out of the cave. Looking up to the dark sky, she was really glad no sunlight fell on this world or the sunlight would have been enough to blind her tired eyes.

She couldn't help but shake her head every time she thought of last night…

'Seriously.. Is this guy some demon who rose from hell just to kill her with his oblivious attacks?'

Every time she wanted to close an eye, her body would go full alert instead of falling asleep. And, the one time she managed to fall asleep, she woke up after some time to find herself sleeping with her head on his shoulder.

It scared the shit out of her!!! And more so when Ezekiel remained still and let her sleep on his shoulder. It was as if he didn't want her to wake up… which seemed ridiculous to her.

Instantly, she straightened her posture as her face twitched and felt Ezekiel turn towards her in surprise.
