The six groups reached the spots around the border of Vincardine. Ruth sent one of the guards to look around, to make sure no danger was hidden waiting to launch the attack. The other guard took her to where the dead body was but not before a warning.
"Luna, erm... I don't think you can see it. I mean... it is... not in a good state."
"Don't worry about it! Show me where it is." Ruth ordered.
The man nodded his head and walked her to the spot. As soon as Ruth saw the sight, her eyes went wide in shock. She had seen enough in her life now, but none of that prepared her for the sight in front of her.
As she took slow steps near the dead body, she realised that the sight was more disgusting than she thought. The guard passed her a handkerchief to cover her nose. And she accepted it immediately without any arguments.
Ruth covered her mouth and nose as her face scrunched up in disgust. The flies had established their paradise on the dead rogue.
