Side Story 1 Mornings

When I woke up, Cera was still hugging me. With her right-hand resting top of my stomach, and her left arm being used as a pillow, I crept up on her lips and forced her to wake up. Completely enamored by her sleepy face, I continued my morning routine, kissing her until I was satisfied.

"Good morning." With our lips on top of each other, I could feel her smile.

Knowing that my morning kisses make her smile like this, that I'm the only one that can feel her smile with my lips, makes me do this every morning. I lightly chuckle out of happiness and Cera grabbed me by the waist, dragging my body on top of hers. Pretending that I'm still in control of the situation, I continued my morning onslaught.

After our morning ritual, Cera got off the bed to get ready. I stole her pillow and wrapped the blanket around me while I stared out of the frosted window.

"Why can't it be winter all year long?" For some reason, the cold weather calms me down. I feel at ease when I watch the snow slowly drifting from the sky. An inexplicable sense of tranquility fills my body during this time of year.

"But that means you can't go outside." Cera said from the inside of our closet, while picking out my winter clothes for today.

"That's okay. Summer sucks anyway. It's too hot and it makes me sleepy." I replied while sneakily approaching Cera from behind with the blanket around me like a cape, gobbling her up with it.

"Can we stay inside again?" I pleadingly pressed myself against her.

"Alright, but first you have help me finish a few documents." She let me hold her a little longer before Noire came knocking.

"Breakfast is ready." Without entering, Noire let us know.

"We're on our way." We got dressed and went into the dining room, where Viv was stoically standing while Noire finished setting up the table.

"Good morning, my lady, my liege." Viv greeted us as she always does when we entered the room.

"Morning." I sat down and started with dessert. A strawberry cupcake and a bit of milk to start off the morning is the best.

"There's no training today, Viv. We're staying in today too." I continued eating before I remembered what I was thinking about yesterday.

I cut up a piece of my ham filled omelet and offered it to Cera, pondering what I would do if we adopted a little girl. I would be able to dress her up in Cera's old dresses and adorn her hair however I want. It'd be like having a little doll all to myself that I could love and take care of with all my heart. I think we're still too young, but recently, this insatiable crave has been overwhelming my mind with ideas of being able to start a family with Cera. We're making a lot of money thanks to Celest and I'm strong enough to protect everyone in the house without much trouble.

"You should eat too, here." Cera stuffed a bit of her toast in my mouth. I fixed my eyes on her while I chewed the bit of toast and realized it wasn't time yet.

I still want her all to myself.
