If All Tangled Up

"No... the question was... is there something wrong with me?" Sean became confused with his words. How could he ask that? He knew he was sick! But he still tried to get back to the job, trying to recover his memories little by little.

"Sean..." Feline blurted out his name. Sean shook his head.

"I don't get why you need to..."

"I'm sorry, okay? I'm just driven out of the emotions I felt whenever you praise her. It's like...," Feline took up that moment in inch her face closer. Raising her hands from her lap, she held onto both sides of his face. Sean's dagger looks met her soft ones.

"I'm sorry. That's all I could say for now." No matter how toxic her words were earlier, she couldn't take it back. Sean heard it, how she felt, how she moved whenever she's uncomfortable. She's that competitive woman who wouldn't let down a fight.
