Cool Off

Another lie. Another pretense of pretending that she doesn't know Sean that fully. She's similar to someone who swerved at the corners and halted when it came from taking a step forward. 

She's afraid of changing. 

"What you said about Feline... is it true?" Sean dared to open up their relationship, and in the glimpse of the lingering light, he stared at her. Inside those four corners of the elevator, he seemingly couldn't deny how those glossy lips were pulling him closer. He resisted, screaming at the back of his mind to reduce those thoughts. He knew he had to ask, and nothing could stop him. 

He wished the truth would come out of her lips in a second. Friya parted her mouth, gritting her teeth, nodding. "It's true, Sean. I don't have to lie about Feline, she's a kind and generous person."
