Seeing You

"I thought you're going to treat me as a stranger. Somebody that you just used to know. Like what exes do." Sean's tone was sad. She used to make it happier, but now, she didn't have the energy to do so. She just let it be. The tone made her devastated in every way possible. How come she's here, dancing with him, with nothing else to think of but how she's going to handle another conversation?

The words got jumbled, and she might have said the words repeatedly. She was trying not to get used to it.

"Maybe this is our last dance together, Friya?" This is the last, after all. She will not let Sean hold her waist again, like what he did right now. She will not let him kiss her again, like what he did last day. Friya will not be a fool again. She learned how to stand up, and she never wanted to fall again.

Just for a man, she will not live in a world full of inconsistencies. Friya will wait for the right one to come. And it's not Sean. It's not him.
