Punishment for not believing in me**

Harry blinked at Berry's nonchalant reaction. He didn't know whether to feel relieved or to feel invalidated at what he just heard. Was she just coping somehow? Maybe just compartmentalizing it all away just so she wouldn't have to think about it? It just didn't make any sense. Why would she be this calm?

"I see…" Harry trailed off, still in disbelief at Berry's response. "Are you… sure about that though? You're not disgusted with me or something?"

"Why would I?" Berry smiled. "It's all in the past. How many times do I have to tell you that?"

"I… I suppose so…."

In front of him, Berry sighed. "Still not convinced then? I'm not lying when I say that I don't care."
