"Scared?"

Murata asks his friend trying to lighten up the mood.


"Are you?" 


Yuuri looked at Ken with a blank expression. The kind of look that one would never not expect to see from him.  Murata then responds with his trademark dead-pan smile. 

"You know very well that that trick won't work on me, Shibuya." 

"Hahaha. Sorry about that. It's just that, sometimes I can't help myself from doing things like that now. It creeps me out."  

Yuuri turned to him and met his gaze.


"I'm scared Murata. I really am."


Being a sage, he wished he had the answers now. He too is scared. Can Yuuri handle it?

But how?

"The incident of robberies at the Southern border of Cavalcade has been in peace for quite sometime now. But there's a new problem popped-up."


Said Yozack as he delivered the report that he gathered about his latest assignment.


"Since the robberies had stop, there were reports of about people been missing on some part of the Belifield's land."


"Yeah. I also got a report from Lord Waltorana von Belifield just this Morning."  Gwendal stated.


"Apparently, I got the same report from Lord von Grants too just before I got here." 


Conrart decided to join. He thinks that the information is vital. He gave a knowing look at the orange-head spy who in return gave him a nod.


"Some people had gone missing in Cavalcade too. I have a hunch that these incidents were made by the same group of people." 


Yozack added, as if hearing Conrart's thought.


"We can't say it is. There must be another group of people behind this."


Murata finally voiced out. His glance was on Yozack. He has been quiet for quite sometime now that everyone didn't feel his presence inside the room.


"There must be a reason for Yozack to think otherwise." he added.


Gwendal turned to the owner of the voice. It is Yuuri who is seated opposite him. Yuuri had this serious tone in him that he can't help but to twist an eyebrow. It may not be new to everyone that the Maoh has this really deep concern over his people, may it be human or not, it's just that he is not the type to be keen on this kind of matter. He better not be playing detective again for this is a serious matter.


"Well your excellency, it seems that all of these incidents have one thing in common."


Silence filled into the room. waiting for the Spy to reveal his thought. But turn to leave his seat.


"I still want you to go out there and investigate further. We need more information before we could make our moves." Gwendal cut in.


Gwendall said flatly. The others start to  leave their seats  and head out. 


"Wait, what?! You're not gonna tell me what the information is?"


The double black king growled in frustration after receiving a deadpan look from Gwendal, a glare from Wolfram,  a to-all-shinou-only-knows-what- smile from Conrart and a wink from the orange-haired Spy. all seems to tell him that he should just drop the matter and leave the case to them. 


"Oh, come on! I am the king! I should at least know what's going on in my kingdom!"


"We'll let you know what you have to know as long as you confirm a little more information about it.  We really can't rely on hunches about this matter. Now, if you'll excuse me I have a lot of work to do. So please..."  Gwendall said in a dead flat tone. 


Yuuri still not satisfied, storms out of the room. 


Conrart and Wolfram immediately followed him. Yozack went back to his quarter to prepare for his mission. The maids at the corridor  could hear Maoh and his fiancé in their another heated conversation again.
