Chapter Seven

"Heika."

The Double black king turned to see Conrart who's standing a few feet away from the desk he was sitting on.

"It's Yuuri. It is you who named me after all, remember?"

The browned haired man just gave Yuuri a warm smile like he usually does

"What are you doing here, Yuuri?

Lately The young king was always out of sight. Just like today, right after Yuuri is done with the paperwork, they can't find it in his office. Little did they know that he would find him here. In the castle's library.

"I found these interesting books in the castle."

Yurii Turned to see the book that he had been browsing.

"Though it's been so long since I've first arrived here and already visited several kingdoms in Shinmakoku, turns out there's still much to learn." Yuuri stated with enthusiasm. "Look Conrart. I never knew such a place existed here!"

The double black teen pointed at the photo of a magical place in the book.

"Just like the world in w/c you came from, Shinmakoku too is wide and vast. There are places and creatures here that have been forgotten and there are some that are yet to be discovered." Conrart explained.

"Uhm." Yurri nodded then resumed browsing the pages of the books.

Conrat can't help but to notice the pile of books that's been neatly arranged on the library's desk. Some of them are still waiting to be read. He finds it a bit unusual since they all knew that the young king is not that much of a book person.

The only book that the teen bears to read is the book that he uses for studying before their exam on earth, or the book from earth that is filled with drawings of people with a very few words on it. It is an interesting book. But in terms of engaging much on reading books such as these, Yuuri is not the type to last reading those without dozing off or getting bored halfway.

"These are a lot of books, Yuuri. Is there anything you wish to find? I have spare time to assist you."

For a split second Conrart swore he saw a brief change on Yuuri's face before the teen flashed his usual goofy and carefree smile. For a moment there it reminds him of the expression he often saw on the double black Sage. But the expression changed so quickly that one would think that he was just imagining it.

"There is nothing specific for now. But if there is anything interesting to come up, I'll sure be asking for your assistance or maybe Guntarr's."

Conrart silently nods. Then silently take his leave. He can't help but to throw a last glance at the double black teen. Gone is his goofy smile and replaced by a very serious yet placid atmosphere in and around him.

He slowly closed the library's door making sure not to disturb the young king who went back browsing the books. Those expressions that he often observes on Yuuri lately are something that is bothering him. He had known the teen for a long time now and this is something that he considered strange. He is certain that there is something going on that the Maoh is not telling them.

Inside the library, Yuuri is staring at the pile of books. He closes the one he's currently reading. It's been a week already. None of the books he had read so far contain the information that they seek. There is no news from the Murata either. Which could only mean they both are still empty handed.

Even with the Daikenja's memory there is nothing to find too. If there are any, for sure Murata had a memory of it. He can't help but sigh. They need to find a solution as soon as possible. He's having a bad feeling that something bad is going to happen. They can't be in any trouble now unless this matter will be fixed.
