The moon was shining bright on that fateful night as the desalt smell of blood and death filled the air around the Uchiha compound

It started like another day but little I know may life was about to drastically change and may I say for the worse

EARLIER THAT DAY-Kireina POV

I woke up, done my normal hygienic routine and went to eat breakfast mommy made pancakes I love her pancakes there the fluffiest and even sweeter with delicious maple syrup sprinkled on top; topped with whipped cream and and fresh fruit.

after I headed to the park and saw shikamaru playing a game shogi with his father. he taught me a bit about it and I almost beat him this one time. 'oh I can't wait till the day I beat him in at his own game' I watched their game for a bit, I also played a few games. Shiki even gave me some pointers and I actually beat Mr. Shikaku...okay it was actually I tie but I still call that a win in my book.

then after went to the sweets shop I saved up enough money to gets some bag of chocolates

walking down the streets while I munched down my chocolates in hand, stuffing them in my mouth my the handful I then felt something or someone I muttered "Opps, sorry"

"no problem, believe it" the guy shouted making me cover my ears from his loudness

"here" he said as he picked up my bag of sweets and hands it back to me

"Arigatō" I muttered taking the bag and headed off

I then visited Tamaki for a while...

"hey Reika what are ya doing her" Tamaki said as her door opened

"you have to taste these they're super good" she moaned in delight as she hands Tamaki a bag of sweet chocolates that she was eating

"okay" she takes out a piece of chocolate and pops it into her mouth "hmm"

"I know, they have the perfect mix of delicious and richness" I gushed

we just stood her for a few minutes until the bag drained as we gushed over the treats

Mika and I were headed home when we got there the sun was starting to go down

"hey you don't that he'll come after me"

"stop being a big baby, honestly I can't believe that a little tale would scare you that much; I was messing with you" I teased punching her lightly in her shoulder

"hn, okay I'd give it to ya, you have some good scary stories that could send a chill down your spine for sure"

"looks like my stop, see ya tomrrow" Mika waved I waved back and proceed to head home

The door brust open and in rushes a troublesome Fugaku "huh, something wrong" Mikoto question as her head perked up

"Itachi's gone mad, he's killing everyone" he whisper-yells

Mikoto had a slight surprised shook on her face "what about-" and on cue the two peak in an their innocent daughter scribbling away

She jumped a bit when the two walk up "Mama? papa?" she said tilting her head slightly confused

"Do you want to be a ninja" Fugaku asked the raventte child

"huh? But I thought you said I couldn't be-" she skeptical said, raising an eyebrow

"well even grown up can make mistake. we realize that its not fair, you should be able to choose your own path." Mikoto explained

"regardless of what you choose we'll always be proud of you" Fugaku added

"proud- of me?" she said in disbelief, pointing to herself as she can feel the the heat in her cheeks as she lightly blushes

they both nod "I believe you'll grow up into a beautiful Yong lady" Fugaku praised

"and a strong one at that" Mikoto added

her blush grows a bit in embarrassment as she tried to hide it 'okay, somethings defiantly wrong when Otosan openly praises you. but I'm not complaining am I...nah' Kireina thought, mentally shrugging

"yeah, I am, because I'm an Uchiha and we Uchiha women aren't to be mess with" she exclaimed

Mikoto ruffles her hair and lets out a small giggle making her pout a bit

"yeah, you better watch out papa because we can be the scariest so don't mess with us or else you'll regret it!" Kireina proclaimed

"I beg to different honey-" Mikoto commented as she runs her fingers through her daughter's hair "the Uzumaki hold that crown of scariest females" she lightly jokes, chuckling a bit, remembering her redheaded friend that died a few years ago when the nine tails attacked the village 'I'll see you soon Kushina.' she closes her eyes thoughtfully

"really?"

"yeah, when she get mad...well you don't want to get her angry or else" Mikoto joked

Fugaku got a glimpse of few crossed scribbles and notes that were written on the scroll she was using with a basic ninjutsu formula even advanced for her age. A small smile formed on his usually emotionless face, glancing at his daughter proudly.

"I think its time for bed, don't you" Mikoto said

"bu-*yawn*-I-I'm not tired" Kireina said with a light yawn

"hm?!" she raises an eyebrow a bit

"okay maybe a little" Kireina admitted slightly blushing

LATER THAT NIGHT- KIRIE POV

I was half asleep as I walked downstairs to grab something to drink

when I was walking back I noticed a growing atmosphere and heard muffled yelling from down the hall "-why?!" 'that was Sasu-nii' I thought as I had my ear pressed against the wall

"what's going on, I want to know" I muttered to myself as I press my ear to the wall more listening

I kept listening as the voices died down into nothingness and the atmosphere grew cold, quiet, and unsettling

"Why, why leave Ki-Ki and me alive" Sasuke questioned

"because your not worth killing" Itachi said in a cold and emotionless tone as he flashed his sharingan- but it wasn't your stranded sharingan, it was different with three tipped shuriken spinning in the center.

...the mangekyo sharingan

"-and Ki-ki's too innocent to kill"

"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO CALL HER THAT!"

"loath me, hate me, despise me, but you'll never defeat me until you achieve these eyes" Itachi flashes his sharingan, then Sasuke slumps to the ground, passed out.

Kireina's loud cries of horror filled the air briefly, Itachi looked back as a small tear fell "I'm sorry imotō, I hope you'll forgive me" he muttered to himself then dashed out of the village in the dark of night now a traitor to the same village he once loved

My curiosity got the better of me even tho my guts telling me don't, I slide the door open I was meet with something more horrible....The corpses of my parents laying in a pool of blood. The glass I was holding, shattered as it dropped and made a decently loud crash sound when it impacted with the floor. I found myself crying a full on river as I fell on my knees give from under me. I hastily drag myself to them and started to shake them lightly. "MOMMY PLEASE WAKE UP. Please mommy please" I said shaking my mothers corpse lightly. "Papa, mama's not waking up." I cried "Papa...p-please p-papa...WAKE UP WAKE UP!" more tears start to form, I try my best to hold them back "C'mon this is not funny. Please...m-mama not-p-papa" my horsed voice crocked

color starts to drain from my face, I brought my hands up to my lips as reality started sets in. "Y-Y-you-your-no, no no! Y-You can't be. you c-can't! Not you too" I croaked heartbroken, my voice drops an octave shaking my head violently, crying my eyes out.

"MOMMY....DADDY!"

"Y-you p-promised me, you promised! papa! please. Mama...m-mama?! T-t-th-th-this isn't real, IT CAN'T BE!" I stammered my tears ran down my face uncontrollably "this, th-its just a joke a sick sick joke. It has to be" I silently crawled in between my dead parents and curled up between their corpses and cried myself to sleep.
