(23) Chunnin exams: round 3

KIREINA POV

I had time during the month to fix up the Naraka shrine when I was doing my research that and the head house since I was spending a lot of time in the estate if not.

It was a few days since I found those few scrolls since the other day and got transported to Ushinawareta yama. I kinda still can't believe it, I got a summoning. Also the finals of the chunnin exams I don't want to miss them especially Sasuke's match.

It was still a bit early so I was back at the ruins of the old compound doing a bit more insight before the matches begin since it was still a bit early

TIMESKIP-Sasuke POV

Kakashi and I just arrived at the stadium, full of a rowing audience of spectators. to be honest I don't care about any of these nobodies, only that Ki-ki is here to watch me win, I'll show her how strong I've gotten.

Garra and I were going at it when all of a sudden he starts to transform into this monster and eventually fled with his sibling into the forest

3RD POV

Snakes started to appear and attack the stadium and nearby areas

on the out skirts at the old compound of the now extinct Uchiha clan rushed a black haired girl as she dashed to the entrance and through town 'what the heck is happening! you're slightly late to your brothers match and you get giant snakes attacking the city.' she looked over the city from a nearby rooftop 'I just can't standby I have to do something. this is my home too and I won't let it go to ruins!' she encourages herself

she starts to to jump the rooftops and searching for endangered citizens and helping them along the way

"Please save my child!" a woman begged, pointing to a kid near by her cheeks the kid's pulse "she's gonna be just fine. Get somewhere safe miss" she said the woman nods and runs in the opposite direction

she gives a sigh of relief for a split second before she feels herself get knocked back and fall into unconsciousness

After the chunnin exams and attack on the village some jonnin searched for survivors among the village Deidre

Sasuke's POV

I just got to my house and headed straight to her bedroom 'it seems that this place is still standing, but where's Ki-ki?!' I thought to my self

suddenly I heard a knock at my door. I opened it up to only find an anbu standing there. "are you Sasuke Uchiha?" he asked

"who wants to know" I said crossing my arms and the signature glare

"you're wanted at the hospital" he simply said

"for what exactly" he didn't answer and motion me to follow him

when we arrived at the hospital it was filled with my guess, some of the villagers that couldn't escape the attack. he eventually lead me to a room and motion me to go in. I only gave him a 'hn' before walking in, I was shock to find my sister laying on a bed unconscious 'what happened' was the only thing on my mind

KIEINA'S POV

"Ah! Stupid snake!....I-oh, when I get my-huh? w-wha-Where the heck am I!" I shout in confusion rubbing my head a bit and rubbing a tender side "ow" I winced

"Ki-ki are you alright?!" I heard a concerned Sasuke "you shouldn't move all that much your probably a bit sore still. You should take it easy for a few days"

I cracked a small smile wincing a bit when I felt a shot of pain "I'm fine" I muttered with a sheepish smile, he gave an 'oh, really' look but didn't press further.

"I'm sorry I missed it, I lost track of time" I rubbed my neck sheepishly

"I'm just glad your okay Ki-Ki" he huffed

We sat in a small moment of silent we heard the door slide open as a small group entered

"ah, good to see that your back in the land of the waken" Choji jokingly said, Sasuke resisted the urge to roll his eyes at the Akamichi

"...Its lucky you got out of that alive" Tamaki exclaimed "What were you even doing out there? Is that why I didn't see you at the stadium?" she asked

"yeah....kinda....I was busy and lost track of time...and..well...yeah" I said bit sheepishly rubbing the back of my head "sorry I missed the matches. Were they good? tell me." I said bit anticipated-ling to hear how they they turned out.

"Well Naruto defeated Neji and that sand ninja with the make up he forfeited making Shino, the bug guy the winner by default. you should've seen it Shika here was close but he deiced to forfeit as well and Temari won" she explained

"oh"

"yeah and they were close for a minute I thought Shikamaru was gonna win it" Choji added

"ah" I hummed "and how was your match Niichan" I asked Sasuke who was sitting besides me

"It could've been better" he grumbled

"don't worry princess your brother's just a bit salty that his match got interrupted and got shown up by the knucklehead" Choji causally teased, I snickered to myself. as my brother sent a death glare towards the two of us. he let out a slightly nervous chuckled as sweat started to form

"troublesome" I heard Shika mutter, Sasuke shot a small glare at the indifferent Nara

"Anyways" I said breaking the short short silence "how bad is it" I asked curiously

"the nurse said you have a few fractured ribs and a twisted arm but not too bad" he said in a neural tone "stop getting yourself hurt its not worth it if you keep being so reckless" he added sternly

"hn" I mentally crossed my arms
