Chapter 15 : The Mystery Of Dungeon Gates

Draiken" Hey Isabella I'm back.

Isabella" Welcome, would you like something to eat ? I think I cooked some pretty good food for a practice run.

Draiken" Wait a second, you can cook now ?

Isabella" Yeah I've been watching alot of cooking shows and I think I learned a few tricks from some chef named Gordkn Ramsey.

Draiken" Wow that's pretty awesome we no longer have to eat takeout anymore.

Isabella" What's take out.

Draiken" Nothing important let's just dig in.

Draiken takes his chopsticks and folds his hands.

Draiken" Thank You For The Food

Isabella stares at him although lost, and she does the same.

Isabella" Thank You For The Food.

Draiken looks at her and gives a small smile on his left chic. As they eat, draikens taste buds are transported into maximum pleasureness of taste.

Draiken" My God this is so freakin delicious. Did you really cook this yourself?

Isabella" Yes master but with the limited ingredients we had I couldn't finish the dishes final stage.

Draiken" YOU MEAN THIS IS INCOMPLETE ?

Isabella" Yes master.

Draiken" Well you have talent I'll tell you that and you would definitely make it in the food industry. So any plans for the future ?

Isabella" Well Master on TV I saw this place called a restaurant and someday I'd like to own one for myself.

Draiken" What about the Netherworld, wouldn't you like to go back there ?

Isabella" Well Master since I belong to you, I'll go wherever you go and as for the Demon world I wouldn't mind going back but I think the human world is much more suited for me.

Draiken" Ok then how about i try to make your dream come true.

Isabella" How master ?

Draiken" Well not now ofcourse but when I save enough money I'd like to open a peaceful restaurant just for you, where you'll manage everything and take care of it so you better start learning management skills right now so you won't fail when starting.

Isabella" Really master.

Draiken" Yeah it's a Yusuhiro promise.

Isabella"????

Draiken starts to explain his childhood growing up and how he used to make promises with his sister.

Isabella" Master where is your sister right now.

Draiken" She's in the hospital fighting for her life.

Isabella" Fighting for her life, is she dying ?

Draiken" Yes she is. The doctors say she's becoming weaker and weaker by the day, they also say she has about 2 years to live in that coma like state. Most probably she'll die next year.

Isabella" I'm sorry to hear that.

Draiken" Well let's look at the bright side of things, she's going to a better place and she won't have to worry about me anymore.

Isabella talking to herself" How does master stay so calm after talking about something so tragic. Well I guess me and him aren't too different.

Draiken" So Isabella what's that thing you found that's been troubling our earth scientists ?

Isabella" Aww yeah. Its about Dungeon gates.

Draiken thinks to himself" What could she have found in about a day that we couldn't in years of research.

Draiken" What about them ?

Isabella" Earth is just a planet situated in the Cerekulum Universe but there's also other planets like the Netherworld, Underworld Spectra, Zerkov and more situated in The Dark Abyss Universe light years away from here.

Draiken" Ok so what does that have to do with the Dungeon Gates.

Isabella" Well as you may have seen your earth was the weakest in the whole galaxy even weaker than the Alien race on Spectra but then that suddenly changed, some of you got supernatural abilities that far surpass maybe even us due to the appearance of dungeon gates.

Draiken" We already knew that except the part of the Dark Abyss Universe.

Isabella" Ok then but did you know the Dungeon gates are Monster made Portal Wormhole that connect the this universe to the dark abyss.

Draiken" WHAT THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE, AREN'T WORMHOLES THOSE SPACE THINGS THAT LEAD TO NOWHERE.

Isabella" Well you are half true, a wormhole is first known as a portal but if the boss of the universe is killed or doesn't have much energy to sustain the portal it starts closing down then it becomes a blackhole that transport you to a dangerous universe where even our people dont dare go to.

Draiken" And where's that ?

Isabella" The Mysterious Unknown Universe.

Draiken" So there is a place even monsters fear. I'd like to visit that place sometime maybe it'll even be fun.

Isabella" Fun what's so fun about death huh ?

Isabella keeps on talking while Draiken laughs at her as she becomes angrier and angrier.

Draiken talking to himself" Wow I never new she was so violent and outspoken like this. Well except for that time she threatened to tell her dad to execute me, that was funny. 😂

Isabella" Hey are you even listening to me ?

Draiken" Yeah Yeah I heard you loud and clear and will never do anything to compromise our now connected lives.

Isabella blushes and becomes red as a tomato. Draiken gets closer to her and whispers in her ear.

Draiken" HeHe you as red as a tomato does that mean you like me.

She can't take it anymore so she pushes draiken away from her and runs to her room then she locks the door.

Draiken" Huh she likes me but well I guess due to the training I always do in the morning my physique is becoming better and better. But did I really become handsome that much, well whatever i guess I'm sleeping on the couch tonight.

He pulls a blanket from the near cabinet and settles on the couch. Isabella opens the bedroom door.

Isabella" Arent you coming to bed ?

Draiken" Nahhh I'm gonna stay here for the night.

He lies down on the couch and closes his eyes. Isabella goes back to the bedroom and draiken stops her.

Draiken" Hey Isabella

Isabella" Yes

Draiken" Thank you for the food and about that restaurant, I promise to open it up for you. And in return promise to never leave my side.

Isabella" I'll always be here for you master and i won't abandon you either. Consider that my life's purpose.

Draiken" I never thought you were one to be convinced easily but thanks Isabella you're the best.

As he closes his eyes Isabella goes under Draikens blanket and sleeps next to him. Draiken notices and puts his hand over her as though giving her an embrace.

Isabella" Goodnight Master.

Draiken" Goodnight Isa.

Isabella thinks to herself" Master saved me from my father who turned out to be my evil uncle who killed my parents just for the throne. I thank him for avenging my father and mother and from now on I will fulfill his every wish if need be.
