Chapter 2 : I Became Reawakened

"My name is Draiken Yusuhiro, I'm currently 17 years old and my parents died 8 years ago in a Dungeon break and all I have left is my adopted big sister who saved me when I was drowning in a flood. Now after the Dungeon break 18 years ago special people have been reawakened with supernatural abilities that far surpass those of normal humans and are now called HUNTERS who go into Gate Dungeons and hunt monsters for a living but in this miracle where people can fight back against these monsters some people suffered setbacks. One of them is my big sis Shimiya Hirohisa who suddenly fell in a deep sleep that can't be cured by normal medicinal remedies , now I have to go hunt in these dungeons just to make money so I can pay for her hospital bills.

Nurse Miko screams" DOCTOR HE'S AWAKE PATIENT 463 IS AWAKE.

Doctor"Just take it easy and slow down you just woke up from a serious injury.

Draiken" What happened to me.

Doctor" According to the people who brought you in. You were trapped in a D-Rank Dungeon that turned out to be an S-Rank.

Draiken" WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE I WAS WITH. DID MS MIKOTO TOMEI SURVIVE !!!

Doctor" I'm afraid we can't discuss that for now, you just woke up and need to rest, so please Mr Yusuhiro get some rest.

Draiken starts crying realizing that the woman who was always helping him heal inside the dungeons when he was always hurt, had probably died. He asks the doctor to give him some space while he thinks but then suddenly a window screen pops up with his current stats.

Draiken thinks to himself (wait a minute I also saw this inside the dungeon maybe I really am going crazy, I should probably sleep while I still can).

TIME IS UP AND THE QUEST HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED. IMPLEMENTING PUNISHMENT.

Suddenly the room shifts as though he was in an illusion and he finds himself inside a Dungeon where the terrain is a damp rainforest.

Draiken" What's going on here this feels too real. This aura, am i in a Dungeon and from the likes of it, it feels like an E-Rank Dungeon

Draiken explores around the damp rainforest and soon finds a swam of goblins devouring what seems to be a lower rank monster. In the Dungeons it was survival of the fittest even for the monsters that designated in them thus if a monster would see a human it would feel an urge to kill them and devour their guts and that's why HUNTER ASSOCIATION GUILDS were created to keep order among hunters, explore these unknown Dungeons and in order to make money they would kill the Dungeon boss collect valuables like Saint Realm Crystal's, The Monsters bodies, Monster Cores and more then killing the Dungeon boss would automatically close the Dungeon. But in this case it was unusual for Arasugi because he was transported straight into a Dungeon. Once he was in there, the goblins got a whiff of his scent and started chasing him. With all his speed and fear of dying again he started sprinting towards the opposite direction in Hope's to find the Dungeon entrance so he can exit but unfortunately for him he couldn't find it but instead found a sword that appeared from the systems inventory which was automatically activated by his sense to fight or fear, he hadn't known yet.

And without thinking he took out the sword from a weird space array and started hacking and slashing away.

Draiken screaming" I DONT WANT TO DIE AGAIN

KILL ALL THE GOBLINS TO SURVIVE, BECOME STRONGER AND WIN THIS PENALTY GIVEN BY THE SYSTEM.

Seeing these words he saw a ray of hope that would help make him stronger, as if he were possessed he felt an urge of power inside him and faced the goblins. Quoting a line from a show he saw on tv when he was a kid he started slashing and grinding away until less and less goblins were alive and bit by bit he killed them all and found himself victorious with a few wounds but nothing serious.

Draiken" I finally did it I defeated an E-Rank Dungeon for the first time ever since I started being a hunter.

Feeling happy he started becoming more and more relaxed thinking it was really over until HE appeared . What seemed to be a hard earned victory turned out to be nothing but shambles of crums.

Goblin King Vados" ROARRRRRRRRRRR. WHO HAS DARED TO KILL ALL OF MY CLANSMEN ARMY ??

WITH FEAR SURGING DEEP DOWN WITHIN DRAIKEN'S BODY HE STARTED RUNNING AGAIN. WITH THE GOBLIN KING ON HIS BACK HE DARED NOT LOOK AT HIS BACK BUT INSTEAD SAW A TIMER COUNTING DOWN

Draiken thinks to himself" ( Maybe if I can avoid this Monster goblin until the time runs out I'll survive, but if that goblin catches up to me it will surely kill me, at the moment let me focus on running so I can....).

Before he can finish his thought the goblin king flashes in infront of him and hits him with his massive club that completely destroys his left arm but then as he's about to die he looks at his stats for the last time and sees the time is up but he is still there. He looks at his level gauge and it seems to be almost full with one kill he would definitely level up.

As the Goblin king walks towards him, he sees a small looking goblin and starts running towards him, with all his might and strength he slashes at the goblin and kills it

Again overwhelmed by the new power he launched himself to the king goblin with a half broken sword and jumped for his head to give the killing blow but the goblin blocks and launches its own attack. With his high senses and calmness he was able to see the attack and dodge it, using this he gained speed and went for the kill but the sword couldn't do the job so he took the goblins dagger and used it against it. Becoming faster and faster he was cutting away at the goblin until he became the victor bathed in goblins blood.

As he killed the goblin he got a message from the system saying. Congratulations you have completed the penalty charge without dying and obtained new weapons, skill and title. As he checked his stats he saw that he was becoming stronger.

When he defeated the boss he was automatically taken back to the hospital by the system where he fainted on top of the bed and rested for a whole entire day.
