54 FIRST MOON

Xiao Zhan woke to Yibo's alarm. He woke instead of Yibo, blearily dragging himself over Yibo to grapple on his side of the bed in search of his phone. The lit screen in the darkness of the room shrouded by black drapes made it easier to find, finger swiping across the screen, groaning as he slumped over Yibo's lean frame. Yibo didn't wake, only grunting, one flexed leg straightening. Xiao Zhan could feel Yibo's side underneath his belly, eyes and body still heavy with the lethargy of sleep.

He'd barely closed his eyes again when the alarm sounded once more, loud and annoying and exactly two minutes after the first one had gone off. Yibo woke this time, making a low noise, reaching for his phone to turn off the alarm. He shifted, body realizing the added weight across his abdomen. Xiao Zhan didn't care to move. His hand pressed onto Xiao Zhan's back and squeezed.
