Rewarding Room

Time zipped by like lightning as Asher and Elsa engaged in repeated Burning Night Matches. With their prowess and mindset, everything flowed smoothly like water after the match with Metal Killer.

Although, Asher and Elsa didn't let themself get caught up in their own momentum. Once they realized they used enough time for matches, they quickly made their way down towards the rewarding room.

Currently, Asher and Elsa were briskly making their way down the rewarding room corridor. From behind their mask, both of them had delighted smiles over their hard work today.

Together they made a tremendous profit that would make any High-Class family thunderstruck with absolute awe.

Because of their talented prowess, Asher and Elsa was able to easily win their matches while simultaneously continually impressing the audience.

And as they both were expecting, nobody dared to challenge Elsa. Plus, nobody else dared to challenge Asher anymore. After Meta Killer's fight, it was like everything went back to normal.

A few opponents attempted to use a Power amulet, talisman, or some kind of special weapon. But what those opponents used was of the standard set compared to what Metal Killer attempted.

So finally, after all of their matches, Asher and Elsa made a combined sum of 28,000 Origin Crystals!

In a mere two days, Asher and Elsa made a colossal fortune that would make any multi-company wealthy businessman vomit copious amounts of blood.

For any other System Soul cultivator, they would want to perves such a colossal amount of wealth.

But Asher and Elsa had no such ideas of preserving wealth. Their tremendous wealth today was all for tomorrow.

Tomorrow would be one of the most challenging days of both Asher and Elsa's lives. And yet, they both held supreme confidence in gathering the necessary items to survive and grow.

Before they reached the rewarding room, Elsa had suddenly decided to break their brief silence, asking Asher, "With everything you explained so far, just what should exactly look for? I have some ideas but….I'm not exactly well versed with the assortments of magical items."

Asher took a moment to think over everything he had planned in his mind.

Considering Elsa had no real reason to ever prepare for some life-threatening battle, Asher already expected he'll need to rely on his own intuition.

But of course, Asher had already come prepared for this moment long ago. Especially after Yuki's warning yesterday, Asher took time to research the various magical items that would tremendously help his group.

After pondering for a short moment, Asher told Elsa, "Well, we'll need to get a specific spatial ring for the stuff we get out of here. But, most importantly, we'll need powerful Magical Clothes. Next would be Power amulets, talisman, Magical energy potions, and healing medicines."

Though this may seem like a lot, Asher didn't want to leave any stones unturned for this mission. Even if it is the rarest item that could only be used once for this mission, Asher won't hesitate to buy it.

And it wasn't like Asher doesn't value money. On the contrary, he knows precisely how important money is. But for his friends and his girlfriend, any money spent on them is a worthwhile purchase.

"With the amount we have on us, we should have a lot of options. Only, I hope this will be enough." Elsa spoke with slight concern mixed into her tone.

She was in the same agreement over Asher's readiness to over-prepare. During their morning training, Asher had explained to her the extra trouble that they will encounter on their mission, causing an additional layer of tension for Elsa.

But Elsa didn't get discouraged at all. She was already on a boat of no return with her relationship with Asher, and no extra amount of danger would change her mind.

After their brief conversation, Asher and Elsa had eventually made near the rewarding room.

This time when coming down, the guard by the door didn't say anything to them. He only took a brief glance at them before setting his eyes forward again.

Asher and Elsa didn't mind his rigid behavior and took out their Night Badges from their pockets.

Without even sparing another glance at them, the guard moved out of the way, causing the door behind him to open on its own. Still keeping his attention forward, the guard had only said,

"Good luck searching."

Asher and Elsa wordlessly nodded before stepping into the rewarding room. Upon their first steps into the rewarding room, Asher and Elsa were immediately impressed by the size and aesthetics of the place.

The rewarding room was massive, easily matching the size of their gymnasium at Balreth Academy. Decorative golden jewels were plastered throughout the room, giving the rewarding room a noble, rich feel.

Also placed throughout the room were numerous shelves that were split off into different isles, resembling some sort of regular store.

And all the way at the back of the room was a single counter with a black suit-wearing woman standing behind it.

Asher and Elsa assumed that's where they would need to go to purchase their items since they saw a few other cultivators walking up to her with items in their hands.

Speaking of the cultivators here, Asher and Elsa actually didn't see much roaming about here.

Similar to how sparsely populated the Matches corridors are, the rewarding room also held a limited number of people. Despite its massive size that can fit at least hundreds of people, there were only a few dozen here.

Asher and Elsa only took slight notice of this before quickly snapping their attention up towards the signs hanging above each aisle of shelves.

Asher crossed his eyes over a few signs before stopping on the one he needed.

"First, let's head on over to the Magic Defense aisle," Asher whispered over to Elsa.

Elsa didn't have any complaints, readily nodding at Asher as she turned her gaze over at the Magic Defense aisle as well.

Walking over to the Magic Defense aisle, Asher and Elsa gazed over an assortment of clothing and armor that filled the shelves in this aisle. Surprisingly enough, every armor and Magical Clothing here had a brief description note detailing what they can specifically do.

At the beginning of the aisle, there were only armors and clothes well suited for the Spirit Tier warriors.

Asher and Elsa didn't give any attention to those items. Instead, they made a direct beeline towards the Origin Tier items.

Once there, Asher and Elsa saw a variety of items that specifically suited them. There wasn't anything necessarily bad here, but the duo continues to scout around until they found something that was perfect.

After only a minute of searching, Elsa was the one to stop her sights on one specific set of clothing. As she read over the description for this Magic Clothes Set, a rush of excitement began to fill her veins.

"Asher! I think I have just found the perfect thing that can ease nearly all of our worries about Reese and Kylee."

Elsa was eagerly tugging on Asher's sleeves while never taking her eyes off the Magic Clothes Set.

Asher promptly snapped his gaze over to Elsa's and saw a set of numerous black cloaks neatly folded on top of each other. Looking at the description note for this Magic Set, Asher similarly felt his excitement grow.

The note read as such, 'B-Tier Origin Cloaks. Attacks weaker than the Origin Tier realm cannot harm the user at all. Can tank ten powerful attacks from any Early Stage Origin Tier warrior. It comes equipped with Origin Crystals that slowly recharges its lost energy on its own. This cannot be used in Burning Night Matches. 2,000 Origin Crystals each.'

"Hmmm….this really is perfect. Even if we have to fight that other group, you and I can take it while they would be safe on the sidelines. Let's also buy one for us. Never hurts to have too much defense." Asher said.

Elsa only pauses for a brief moment before agreeing. "I would say it would be good for them to fight on their own, but with this mission….it would only lead to their deaths. Although, this got me thinking. Would we need to purchase any Profound Weapons?"

When thinking about weapons, Asher didn't really feel any desire to purchase something. The axe he uses may look ordinary, but he was told numerous times in the past this weapon was actually extraordinary.

Asher wasn't sure how special it is, but the axe is powerful enough to cut through tough Mana monsters' skins like it was a flimsy piece of tofu.

With his mind made up, Asher told Elsa, "I won't be needing a weapon. My axe is good enough. Reese and Kylee won't be able to contribute much, so we really don't need to get weapons for them. So, what about you?"

"Mnh….I won't be needing anything too. My sword is already of good quality. Ok, let's get everything else we need." Elsa said while grabbing four Origin Cloaks.

Asher didn't need to be told twice, and they quickly continued their shopping spree.

After several minutes of shopping, the duo had everything they needed. First, they bought several white color Magical pills for healing, precisely the same as what Elsa's family has in storage.

They also bought several Spirit Mana talismans that can instantly destroy a Peak Stage Spirit Tier warrior. And a few Origin Mana talismans that can critically injure even Mid-Stage Origin Tier warriors!

For the rest, they brought a bunch of Spirit Tier Magical energy potions, two spatial rings, and a few amplifying Power Amulets.

Once they were finally done shopping, Asher and Elsa were left with only a combined total of 100 Origin Crystals.

With a vast assortment of items under their belts, Asher and Elsa finally felt a slight bit of tension leave their bodies. No matter what curveball the mission may throw at them tomorrow, Asher and Elsa believed they were prepared enough to face it all.
