Theo's POV:
I glanced at Samuel immediately. Now would be the right time for him to interfere in this situation. But he was standing next to the white marble pillar that was closer to the wall and casually viewed the event.
Why is he silent now? I expected him to say something when Darius held my hand and moved the sharp blade closer to my skin. But there was no response from his side.
The lame prince is going to unmask me now! Just when the dagger was about to slice my hand, my mortal enemy appeared on the spot.
Oberon flipped his long cape behind him and stepped into the chamber. The tip of the blade was touching my palm now. If he digs the blade a little, then my silver blood would spill out.
But Darius froze completely when his father came near us. Oberon looked at his son and at me; then, his eyes lowered down to our hands.
