Chapter Four *A Miracle*

The night of a full moon and starlight illuminates the dark sky like a torch of hope.

The sound of the gentle movement of the river and the waves crashing into the rocks are clearly audible

While the whole village was asleep, or not everyone

“Can I sit down?”

Liam quietly asked her as he approached her isolation to interrupt her meditation of the clouds

“Please do”

She responded quietly as she lay on the green ground, comfortably watching the sky

he expanded as well, leaving not a large distance between them

“Do you want to talk?”

He asked her

“I'll explain everything to you, but just let me look at this moon a little further”

She quietly asked, and he smiled at the way she talked about this moon, it's just a rock, Without the sun, it's nothing.

“Moon lovers always made me wonder why It's just a large rock without the sun is nothing.”

Liam told her what was on his mind

“You are right, but this does not mean that the sun alone is sufficient. Without the moon, we do not have a guide in the darkness of the night”

She defended her point

“you are right”

he admitted to her

“The moon is like women. You need it but you don't respect it”

She said in a hateful tone

“You might be right here too, I'm not the man who respects women, to be honest, I don't think I ever did, but I respect you, Andro”

He said it calmly, looking at her with idolization

“I think I have found the moon that I should be looking forward to”

He said, smiling, looking at her meditatingly

“Stop flirting with me Liam and by the way, my real name is Andria”

She said sharply but he laughed loudly

“I'm not flirting with you, I'm just telling the truth, Andria”

He replied with an amusing tone of the conversation and even happier by pronouncing her real name for the first time

“Do it again, and you will find my sword in your chest”

she warned him sharply

“I like your ferocity”

He commented honestly

“I know you want an explanation, But can we Delay it a little“

She groaned

“I know that it is a heavy matter concerning you, but I don't even know if you are a good person or a bad one”

He said in a gentle tone

“You don't have to know anything, Liam, You are not even from the village. Only three knew my truth and Marklin is dead, so now only two people know.”

She said simply

“If you make me third, you won't lose anything”

A diplomatic response

'You'll never replace Marklin. No one will ever do”

She said sadly

“Was she your mother?”

He asked her, making her smile under her scarf

“Let us take off your scarf. I want to see you while we talk, The place is safe.”

He grumbled because he guessed her smile or anger

“I don't want to risk someone seeing me, Liam”

She complained while she sat in a more comfortable position, and he did the same

“Marklin was my mother's best friend”

She said lightly and softly took off her scarf, causing him to smile proudly

“And where is your mother?”

Liam quietly asked

“she was killed”

She simply snapped at Liam

“I'm so sorry”

He whispered

“It was a rainy night in December. I was a six-year-old girl. My mother wanted to run away from this abusive village with me and with Mrs. Marklin, she wanted to protect me.”

“Mother, I forgot the doll Lewis made for me”

younger Andria complained

“No time for this Andi. The guards will come at any moment. We have to flee immediately”

Her mother shouted, fearfully, pulling on her mangled coat

“You go wait for us, and I will return with Andria to the room to get her doll, and we will not be late.”

Marklin said in a hurry, carrying the baby girl and running back to the room to bring the doll

“I was running with Mrs. Marklin, back to join my mother before we heard the sound of arrow shot followed by the sound of my mother's screaming, They killed her because she was standing on the border of the village and intends to flee. They killed her because she was just intending to escape.”

“I'm sorry, This is difficult”

Liam commented, in astonishment, before realizing that there were no words that could help, pulling her into his chest in an embrace

“You can cry here, no one will know, I promise you!”

He said softly, intending to let her cry on his shoulder, to hear a slight laugh that came out of her

“Are you fine?”

He asked her and she turned away from him

“Yes, yes, I am I just amazed at you, Nice to me, and you barely know me and no one was so nice to me at all; so what do you want? Do you want to steal something from the village”

she asked him

“If I wanted to, I would have done that while you were busy with Marklin's death!”

He defended himself

“Maybe I'm nice to you just because your eyes are forcing me to be”

He said in an unclear tone

“You do not trust me, and this is the fine, Good night leader.”

He went straight away from her to his hours

she watched him go away, believed he would go to the tent, But he was heading towards the forest

“Liam”

She cried, he paused to look at her

“stay tonight, It's late, maybe the ghost of darkness will find you”

She tried to make an excuse, but she wanted him to stay for a little longer

he laughed

“Don't be scared, especially about the ghost of darkness”

At the end of his speech, he winked. He pushed his mare thunder towards the forest, she looked at him in wonder as he turned away from the village

“Do not leave”

Three words were fighting over her tongue to get out. She prevented them from coming out on her tongue, and he left.

And she moved to her tent to sleep on a cold night, the day it did not bring good

”Andria, wake up for the Lord's sake”

Lewis' yelling made her jump out of her sleep, terrified

”One of them is attacking us? Is it the ghost?”

She asked him in a panic-stricken manner while carrying her sword in a hurry

“worst, Max challenges you to an open fight tomorrow”

Lewis announced

“What is the problem with that, Lou? It is not the first time and I have defeated him every time.”

She asked quietly

“this time he dared you into an overt KAR fight”

Lewis said

“What is the problem with this? Wait, Oh my God!”

She was talking carelessly until she got it

“Both sides must fight in the public square and expose their muscles without a shield”

She spoke softly

“They have to be bare-chested, Andria!”

Lewis shouted, gasping

“What should I do?”

She asked him for a solution

“If I refused, he would doubt my command and take the lead and drain the women”

She continued a conversation, staring at the ground with no hope, so Lewis approached her

“Andria, you are strong. We will find a way. Calm down, my childhood friend”

Lewis fondled her, smiling calmly

“Choose your times you knight I didn't even wash my face yet”

she blamed him

he looked at her with regret that he could not bear it and ran to tell her

“What if we change the rules and don't need to show off the juggernaut muscles?”

She asked

“Max has been suspicious of you since you yelled in a female voice when Mrs. Marklin left us”

Lewis said

“The fire accident within my face is not helping them anymore?”

She complained in the tone of a question Lewis denied

“I need a miracle, really”

She shouted

“Did someone call me?”
