Chapter Six *A Guardian Angel or A Devil*

She did not know how much time had passed while she was still in that condition until she fell asleep in her place, she was trying to find a solution. She did not want to surrender. Likewise, she never did from the day she was born and until now she is eighteen, but she carries mountains. A Thousand years old can't carry. She is bigger than this fear in her ribs; she is a fighter.

She felt nothing but a hand gently awakening her up. She exhaustedly opened her eyes to find Lewis in front of her.

“I let myself in, Andria”

He commented with a smile; she smiled at him in return weakly

“What time is it now?”

She asked him

“ About six in the morning”

He responded, calmly taking a seat beside her. She fixed her way of sitting.

“Have I slept that long?”

She wondered in astonishment

“Your nerves are tired; it is your right to rest”

he said

“But I did not find a solution, 'There is no solution for it. Lewis, it will all be over, but know that I am very grateful to you, my childhood friend.”

She said seriously at the beginning before she spoke emotionally

To make him laugh lightly

“Don't worry, I won't let them arrest you, I will help you escape”

he replied

“No, please don't. They will kill you. Also, I don't run away from my problems, I will face them even if I die”

she commented

“An hour left to fight”

he said

she rested her head on his shoulder

“I know I don't want to talk about it”

“There's enough time to go find that knight, Liam, to help us.”

Lewis commented

“No, I forgot that I saw him originally, He owes me nothing, he does not have to help me, and he will never come here again”

she spoke calmly, but the tears fell on her cheek betraying her

Lewis noticed her crying but didn't mention it.

The two of them silently waiting for the time

Half an hour before the flight, or as Andria preferred to call it, the end date

Lewis got out of the tent to give her space to change

She straightened up, preparing her sword, and wearing her armour

She held her sword in her hands and looked at it weakly

She will let her mother, who has always been trying to keep her away from this village, and she will let Marklin down, who protected her for nearly nine years without anyone discovering her secret, and here she will be revealed today.

She looks at her sword as if she was bidding farewell to her days as a leader and was preparing to be a slave in that wicked village

“A quarter of an hour left, give me this”

Liam's voice came strongly as he drew the sword from her hand; she gave a high-pitched shout

“Come on, no time, Andria. Take your clothes off and give them to me!”

He shouted at her

“You, But Why?”

She spoke in shock

“I told you I don't want Max to defeat you, in addition to I love fighting”

He said, smiling at her

she went to the far end of the tent to change her clothes

“You are back!”

Surprised, Lewis shouted as he entered the tent

“I don't like hugs!”

Liam warned him to make him laugh

“You are a good man and a noble knight, Liam”

Smiling Lewis commented

“Thank you, colonel!”

Smiling, Liam responded in return

“I will never leave her to them!”

Liam said softly

“You are a good person, Liam”

Lewis spoke as she emerged from behind the curtain holding combat clothes in her arms

“Thank you, For coming back, even though I was very rude to you”

She shyly said as she handed him the clothes before she pinned her scarf on her face, and she came out of the tent and Lewis followed her

He put on her clothes and fastened a scarf over his face, as she would

“If I got discovered, take her and run, I will manage myself, deal”

Liam told Lewis, who moved his head, agreed

“This is in your wildest dreams, Liam. If someone finds out about you, I will go to them, I will never leave you. I mean, it is not your place. I mean, oh, forget it.”

She stumbled before she sighed and continued

“ It will not be revealed, we agreed”

She said calmly, he smiled at her

“Okay, take this fierce, and don't talk except for necessity, of course, in Andro's voice, not the pretty Andria.”

He said with a wink while he was handing her a device the size of a palm or larger called remote communication

He hid the other piece in his pants. He headed to the East Square.

She headed to the women's house with Lewis secretly, and fortunately for her, luck was great; they were all waiting for the fight. No one saw them.

“Shall we see from Mary's room?”

Lewis asked, whispering as she headed for Mary's room

“Yes, and get yourself together, master ladies' killer”

She said in a playful tone and knocked on the door; Mary opened it with a trembling hand that calmed down when she saw her

“Andria, I was surprised that there was someone here, all of them are in the square. Wait, why aren't you with them?”

She asked her in surprise

“No time, I'm standing on the balcony. Lewis, explain to her”

She ran to stand in the hole in the wall that they called the balcony, but it was so small to be one

she thanked god silently because that point reveals the area in which Max was

She saw Liam confidently approaching him to sigh

“So, are you ready, Commander?”

Max asked, in a provocative tone to let Liam move his head affirmatively before she held the device in her hands, tense and said:

“Yes, enough talk fight me!”

She said, Let the voice come out from Liam's side without anyone noticing, and this made her smile at his tight plan. Kind of.

And this was the whole conversation before they both started to fight

That round ended and the next one began, which prevented her from fighting on her own

Liam took off his shirt or her shirt, it doesn't matter

Let Max also take off his own and start showing the muscles and making exclamation sounds from the fitness of the leader's body that he hides

Max looked shocked as if he hadn't expected this

They moved to the last round, and the fencing was with swords

The sound of the swords was high. She watched anxiously and prayed to God next to Mary and Lewis.

With a swift movement, Liam fixed Max to the ground and branded the sword into his neck.

“We have a winner, Commander Anro is the winner”

One of the men excitedly shouted

Liam left without saying a word and quickly headed to the tent

While she panicked and went behind him

As soon as she entered the tent, she found him sitting on the floor, exhausted, drying his sweat with a towel

“Thank you truthfully!”

She gratefully said, as she approached him, a ghost of a smile spread across his lips

“Did you like the show?”

He asked her quietly

“You were awesome”

She said and took another towel to start wiping some blood from his face

She was wiping it softly and extraordinarily grateful, especially for Lewis, who watched with an open mouth

“I do Learn from the leader”

he said joking with her to smile at him calmly

“honestly, Liam, you were awesome”

Lewis shouted, interrupting the moment he thought it was strange

The three of them loudly laughed before she spoke shyly

“Thank you, otherwise I would be a personal slave for Max now”

“Don't say that” Lewis commented sadly

“You are welcome, my beauty” Liam replied with a smile

she was wondering who he really is?......... Is he a guardian angel? why did he come to her from the very start? but she was sure of one thing, True friends are always the best gift. True friendship isn't measured by the more time you spend together or the longer you have known them. True friendship is measured by Situations, the sacrifice that you're willing to do for your friends.
