Coral Honeysuckle

Korey

I was nervous, to say the least, I had thirty minutes left until I was walking down the aisle by myself, I tried to get my parents to come but they couldn't make it, so I chose to walk down the aisle by myself.

"Korey, are you ready honey?" Gertie asks.

"Yes Nana, I'm fine, just nervous," I chuckle nervously.

"It's normal, you'll be alright," she smiles, "And I love the black and gold toga, it's a beautiful choice."

"Fifi helped me pick it out," I say, giving her a wink.

"I was once in your position baby girl, so I know a thing or two," she smiles.

I look in the mirror one more time, I had minimal makeup on and they used traditional Greek perfume, I smelt like roses and lavender.

"Korey, we need to get going," Gertie says looking at her watch.

I pick up my bouquet of lilies and white roses and get ready to walk down the aisle. Gertie opens the door and I'm greeted by Mama June and Rhea, they are dressed in traditional Greek dresses.
