A girl and three teenagers get lost in a high jungle in the Andes. The area is uninhabited and they have to survive in a hostile and unknown environment. In the forest mist float myths and legends of beings called The Ancient Ones, and the girl manages to communicate with wild animals. 
The youngsters must face dangers due to jungle beasts, tropical storms and geological cataclysms, as well as to drug traffickers, Jaguar-Priests and other unknown entities and a sinister place called by the natives The Tangle, an area of the jungle so dense that the vegetation prevents sunlight from reaching the ground. 
To overcome these dangers, the teenagers use their energies and display powers that they did not know they possessed.

The Bewitched Jungle

The trip started as soon as dawn had broken and it was beginning to take its share of exhaustion when the sun was high in the sky at that latitude located north of the Tropic of Capricorn and on a date not far from the Equinox.
